국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 몬테소리 우주교육론을 기저로 한 초등학생을 위한 환경교육 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 기초연구를 시행하고자 하는 것 이다. 몬테소리의 우주교육론은 우주의 변천과정을 다루는 것 뿐만 아니라 우주에 존재하는 모든 사물은 우주 전체와의 유기적인 조화속에서 인간과 자연은 동등하다는 신념으로 지구위에 살고 있는 나 ·인간 ·인류 ·자연의 과거와현재 그리고 미래를 다루는 것 까지를 포함하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 몬테소리의 우주교육론의생태교육과 평화교육의 내용을 재구성하여 10개의 주제를 선정하였다. 10개의 주제는 지구가답답 해요, 우주공간을 날며, 물.물.물, 나무는 초록색, 흙냄새를 맡아요, 서로 돕는 정의의 환경친구, 하나뿐인 거룩한 생명, 세계평화를 위하여, 우리는 환경 지킴이(1)(2)이다. 이러한 주제를중심으로 초등 저학년을 위한 환경교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초연구로서 그 내용영역을 체계화 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to design the environmental education program based on Montessori's space pedagogy for primary school children. Montessori's space pedagogy does not only deals with the changes of the universe including its formation, expansion, and death but also with all the mankind on the earth. In this study adopts ecological and peace education of Montessori's space pedagogy as a theoretical background of environmental education. Montessori's ecological education focuses on human, animals, lifeless things, and the earth. It emphasizes that men in relationships initiatively is responsible for preventing and educating the environment for their descendents. Montessori says in peace education that creating peace is duty of education and education is a tool for peace. Peace education is deeply related to individuals and social communities. And furthermore the essential element of the peace education is child-centered education, which is the most important character of all educational methods. This study selects human: living and inanimate object, and the earth as essential elements of Montessori's ecological education. In peace education, its key words are self esteem, social community, lives, and earth community. Reconstructing and regulating the elements of ecological and peace education, 10 weeks of environmental education program is established and developed, which is the earth is hard breathing water, water, water. Tree is green' 'Smell the earth' 'The space we are living in' 'Guard of justice. Glorious lives For world peace' 'We are environmental guards(l)(2). 10 themes of the program are divided in 4 areas which is object, Montessori method, learning contents, and activity progress areas.
