국문 초록

건강장애 학생은 만성질환으로 인해 학교생활 및 학업 수행에 어려움을 가지게 되며, 이들의 특수한 상황을 이해하고 이에 적절하게 학습 기회를 제공하고 이들이 학교로 돌아왔을 때 학교 복귀를 지원하는 일은 중요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 국내 건강장애 학생의 교육 지원 시스템의 현황과 건강장애 학생 교육과 관련된 사람들의 어려움과 건강장애 학생의 교육 지원과 관련한 발전 방안에 대해 살펴보는 것이다. 우리나라는 건강장애 학생을 위한 교육 지원으로 병원학교, 원격수업, 순회교육 등이 있다. 건강장애 학생이 겪는 인지적 어려움, 신체 및 건강상의 어려움, 심리·정서적 어려움과 병원학교와 원격수업 담당 교사가 겪는 어려움, 원적학교 담임(특수)교사가 겪는 어려움이 있다. 건강장애 학생의 교육 지원의 발전 방안으로는 첫째, 건강장애 학생 교육 지원 인력 확보 둘째, 병원학교와 원격수업 기관의 교사를 위한 공간 및 시간 확보, 셋째, 건강장애 학생 교육 담당 교사의 업무 처리 지원 제공, 넷째, 건강장애 학생 교육 담당 교사의 정신적·신체적 건강 보호 방안 마련을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study is to examine the current state of the educational support system for students with health impairments in South Korea, the difficulties faced by those involved in the education of these students, and the development strategies related to educational support for students with health impairment. In South Korea, educational support for students with health impairments includes hospital schools, remote learning, and itinerant education. The cognitive challenges, physical and health-related difficulties, and psychological/emotional issues faced by health-disabled students, as well as the difficulties encountered by teachers in hospital schools and remote education, and by regular (special) teachers in their original schools, have been identified. As development strategies, the following have been proposed: ① securing educational support personnel for students with health impairments, ② ensuring adequate space and time for teachers in hospital schools and remote learning institutions, ③ providing support for the workload of teachers responsible for the education of students with health impairments, and ④ establishing measures to protect the mental and physical health of teachers responsible for the education of students with health impairments.
