국문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing preventive behavior of exposure to environmental hazards in early adult women. Data were collected from 145 female college students attending C university, April 2024. Preventive behaviors of environmental hazards exposure showed significant differences depending on economic level, previous educational experience, and menstrual cycle. There were positive correlations between preventive behavior and perceived severity (r=0.366, p<0.001), perceived vulnerability (r=0.443, p<0.001), and self-efficacy (r=0.585, p<0.001). The factors affecting the preventive behavior in early adult women were self-efficacy (β=0.401, p<0.001), perceived severity (β=0.223, p=0.001), and perceived vulnerability (β=0.197, p=0.008). The regression model explained 41.7% of preventive behavior (F=15.733, p<0.001). The results of this study suggest that the development and operation of various programs that can increase self-efficacy, perceived severity, and perceived vulnerability should be considered in order to increase the preventive behavior of exposure to environmental hazards in early adult women.
