기업이 인지한 기업지원이 위기 관리정도와 기업 성과에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 급격하게 변하는 외부 환경에서 생존하기 위해 지원받는 기업지원의 필요성이 기업 성과에 영향을 미치는지, 위기 관리정도가 기업지원과 성과 간 매개효과를 갖고 있는지에 대해 검증하고자 하였으며, 코로나19를 기점으로 전통산업의 디지털 전환을 추진하고 있는 지능형관광서비스, 그린에너지솔루션 산업군의 제주지역 기업을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 이에 기업에 대한 정책지원을 인프라, 기술개발, 기술지원, 사업화지원 4가지로 분류하여 제시하고, 각각의 지원 프로그램이 기업의 위기관리 정도를 매개로 기업 성과에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업이 인지한 기업지원과 위기 관리정도와의 관계를 검증한 결과, 기업지원 프로그램의 특징에 따라 영향이 다르게 나타났으며, 단기적인 측면에서 기업은 위기를 타파하기 위해 직접지원 형식의 프로그램을 필요로 하는 것으로 분석된다. 둘째, 기업이 인지한 기업지원과 기업 성과 간 관계는 통계적으로 유의하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 기업의 위기 관리 정도와 기업 성과의 관계에서는 단기적인 관점에서 재무적․물적 자원의 관리를 통해 매출 성과를 향상시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 기업이 인지한 기업지원과 기업 성과의 관계에서 인프라, 기술개발, 기술지원과 매출성과 간 관계에서 자원관리가 완전매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점으로는 불확실한 경영환경에 대응하기 위한 기업지원이 동일한 시점에서의 위기관리에는 영향을 미치지만, 당장의 기업 성과까지 영향을 미치지는 않는 것을 확인하였으며, 지원기관의 입장에서는 기업지원이 기업의 단기성과에는 부정적으로 나타날 수 있으므로, 기업지원을 통해 도출할 성과를 장․단기적으로 구분하여 지원 방향성을 정립할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to verify whether the need for business support to survive in a rapidly changing external environment affects corporate performance and whether the degree of crisis management mediates this relationship. Accordingly, a study was conducted on companies in Jeju, specifically in the intelligent tourism service and green energy solution industries, which are promoting the digital transformation of traditional sectors in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, policy support for companies was categorized into four groups: Infrastructure, R&D, Technology support, and Business support. The impact of each support program on corporate performance was then examined through the degree of crisis management within the company. The following is a summary of the research results. First, the relationship between business support and crisis management was verified, showing that the impact varied depending on the characteristics of the business support program. In the short term, it was analyzed that companies require direct support programs to overcome crises. Second, the relationship between business support and corporate performance was found to be statistically insignificant. Third, in the relationship between crisis management and corporate performance, it was confirmed that managing financial and material resources in the short term can improve corporate performance. Finally, in the relationship between perceived corporate support and corporate performance, as well as the relationship between infrastructure, R&D, technology support, and corporate performance, it was found that resource management has a complete mediating effect. The implications of this study confirm that business support in response to uncertain business environments affects crisis management simultaneously but does not immediately impact corporate performance. As business support may have a negative effect on short-term corporate performance from the perspective of support agencies, it is necessary to establish a direction for support by dividing short-term and long-term outcomes derived through business support.
