생물 예비교사들의 기후변화 및 에너지 관련 수업지도안 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 지속가능발전교육(ESD) 역량 기반 3차원 모델을 이용하여 예비 생물교사가 작성한 기후변화 및 에너지 관련 수업 지도안을 분석하고, 수업 지도안에서 나타나는 ESD 내용이 어떻게 제시되었는지 알아보고자 한 것이었다. 이 연구에서는 18개의 수업 지도안을 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다: 첫째, 18개의 수업 지도안에서는 상황에 따른 자원의 유한성을 다루었으나 분배의 공정성은 거의 다루지 않았다. 둘째, 7개의 행위들 중 60%가 정보 다루기, 구조와 적용이라는 2개의 행위에 집중되었다. 협력과 갈등 대면, 추정과 판단, 평가하고 책임지기, 창조와 실행 등의 행위들은 수업에서 작은 비율로 나타났다. 셋째, 복잡함의 측면을 보면 대부분 낮은 수준에서 높은 수준으로의 지향성을 담고 있었다. 복잡함의 수준이 낮다 보니 내용적으로는 과정에 대한 절차가 생략되는 경우가 많아 활동의 목적과 내용의 불일치를 보였다. 연구 결과 다음과 같은 제언을 하고자 한다. 첫째, ESD 수업 지도안을 작성할 때 보다 폭넓은 활동을 포괄할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 기후변화와 에너지 분야의 ESD 수업 지도안을 주제 중심의 융합수업 형태로 작성하는 것이 필요하다. 셋째, ESD 수업 지도안을 작성할 때 학생들이 자신의 문제에 집중할 수 있도록 계획을 세울 필요가 있다. 넷째, 기후변화와 에너지 문제를 다룰 때 ESD 관점에서 수업을 구성할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to analyze climate change and energy-related lesson plans written by preservice biology teachers using a three-dimensional model based on the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) competencies and determine how the ESD content in lesson plans was presented. In this study, 18 lesson plans were analyzed. The research results are as follows. First, the 18 lesson plans dealt with the finiteness of resources depending on the situation, but rarely addressed the fairness of distribution. Second, 60% of seven activities focused on two aspects: information, structure and application. To dos such as collaborating and facing conflicts, estimating and judging, assessing and taking responsibility, and creating and implementing appeared in a small percentage of the class. Third, regarding complexity, most of them contained an orientation from low to high levels. Because of the low complexity level, procedures for the process were often omitted, indicating a discrepancy between the purpose of the activity and the content. Based on this research, the following suggestions were made: 1) a wider range of activities should be considered when creating ESD lesson plans; 2) an ESD class guide should be created in the field of climate change and energy in the form of a topic-centered convergence class; 3) when writing an ESD class guide, a plan should be established so that students can focus on their problems; 4) classes should be structured from an ESD perspective when dealing with climate change and energy issues.
