브라질리언 왁싱의 인식과 이용실태, 성만족도에 관한 조사연구

왁싱에 관한 관심도가 높아지면서 왁싱숍들을 한눈에 비교해주는 사이트가 생겨나고 있고 셀프 왁싱 제품홍보와 셀프 왁싱 방법까지 SNS에 홍보되고 있다. 왁싱 중에서도 가장 많은 키워드 수를 가진 시술은 ‘브라질리언 왁싱’이다. 브라질리언 왁싱 시술이 성 만족도에 영향을 줄 것이라는 선행연구의 추측은 있지만 브라질리언 왁싱의 위생적 요인과 성 만족도에 관한 조사연구는 없는 실정이다. 이 연구의 목적은 브라질리언 왁싱의 인식과 이용실태를 알아보고 브라질리언 왁싱과 위생적 요인과의 상관관계, 브라질리언 왁싱의 위생적 요인이 성 만족도에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아본다. 브라질리언 왁싱의 인식과 이용실태, 위생적 요인과 성 만족도에 관한 조사연구를 실시하여 브라질리언 왁싱의 효용성을 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 브라질리언 왁싱을 경험했던 20~30대 남성 82명, 여성 228명을 대상으로 브라질리언 왁싱의 인식과 이용실태, 성 만족도에 관한 조사연구를 분석하기 위해 설문조사를 실시한 후 SPSS 프로그램으로 빈도분석과 상관분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과로 브라질리언 왁싱을 하는 이유로 위생적인 이유가 남성과 여성 모두 가장 높게 나타났으며 브라질리언 왁싱을 받기 위해 왁싱숍이 전문성을 가장 고려하고, 남성의 경우 왁싱 전문숍을 선호하는 것으로 나타났고 이를 통해 여성의 경우 여러 가지 관리를 함께 받을 수 있는 개인 뷰티숍을 선호하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 브라질리언 왁싱 재시술 주기로는 남성은 5~6주 사이, 여성은 3~4주 사이로 여성에 비해 남성이 상대적으로 모 성장주기가 늦다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 효과로는 위생과 건강, 쾌적한 일상생활 등으로 나타났다. 브라질리언 왁싱과 위생적 요인과의 상관관계를 알아본 결과 여성과 남성 모두 높은 상관관계가 나타났으며, 이는 브라질리언 왁싱을 경험한 남녀 모두 위생적인 요인으로 브라질리언 왁싱 시술을 선호하는 것으로 추측할 수 있었다. 브라질리언 왁싱의 위생적 요인이 성 만족도 미치는 영향으로 성적 친밀감이 높아지고 성생활이 만족스러우며 성교통 감소와 이성과의 성교 횟수가 증가했으며 주변 사람에게 추천할 의향이 있다는 결과를 도출했다. 본 연구는 20~30대 남녀를 대상으로 브라질리언 왁싱의 위생적 요인이 성 만족도에 미치는 조사연구를 실시하여 왁싱숍에서 브라질리언 왁싱에 대한 필요성과 성 만족도의 객관적인 자료로 활용할 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 20~30대 여성과 남성을 대상으로 조사하였지만 다양한 연령층을 대상으로 한 조사가 필요하며, 커플 브라질리언 왁싱 시술 후 성 만족도에 관한 후속 연구의 필요성이 제기된다.

영문 초록

As interest in waxing increases, sites that compare waxing shops at a glance are emerging, and even self-waxing products and self-waxing methods are being promoted on SNS. Among waxing, 'Brazilian waxing' is the procedure with the largest number of keywords. Although there is speculation from previous studies that Brazilian waxing procedures will affect sexual satisfaction, there are no investigative studies on the hygienic factors and sexual satisfaction of Brazilian waxing. The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception and use of Brazilian waxing, the correlation between Brazilian waxing and hygienic factors, and the effect of Brazilian waxing on sexual satisfaction. It is to investigate the effectiveness of Brazilian waxing by conducting research on the perception and use status of Brazilian waxing, hygiene factors, and sexual satisfaction. To achieve the purpose of this study, 82 men and 228 women in their 20s and 30s who experienced Brazilian waxing were surveyed to analyze the perception, usage, and sexual satisfaction of Brazilian waxing, and then frequency analysis and correlation analysis were conducted with the SPSS program. Studies have shown that both men and women have the highest hygienic reason for Brazilian waxing, and that waxing shops consider expertise the most to receive Brazilian waxing, and men prefer waxing shops, indicating that women prefer private beauty shops that can receive various care together. It was found that men had a relatively late maternal growth cycle compared to women, with 5 to 6 weeks for men and 3 to 4 weeks for women, and the effects were hygiene, health, and pleasant daily life. As a result of examining the correlation between Brazilian waxing and hygienic factors, both women and men showed a high correlation, which could be assumed that both men and women who experienced Brazilian waxing preferred Brazilian waxing as a hygienic factor. As a result of the hygiene factors of Brazilian waxing on sexual satisfaction, sexual intimacy increased, sexual life was satisfied, sexual pain decreased, the number of sexual intercourse with the opposite sex increased, and they were willing to recommend it to people around them. This study conducted a survey on the hygiene factors of Brazilian waxing on gender satisfaction in men and women in their 20s and 30s and can be used as objective data on the necessity and gender satisfaction of Brazilian waxing in waxing shops. In this study, women and men in their 20s and 30s were surveyed, but a survey of various age groups is needed, and the need for follow-up studies on gender satisfaction after couple Brazilian waxing procedures is raised.
