국문 초록

본 연구에서는 다문화가족 자녀들의 사회적응에 영향을 미치는 보호요인은 무엇이며, 이들 요인들의 상대적 영향력은 어떠한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대구·경북지역에 소재한 15개 초등학교와 16개 다문화관련 기관을 이용하고 있는 다문화가족 자녀 232명을 대상으로 한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화가족 자녀의 사회적응에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아정체감, 친구지지, 학교에 대한 흥미, 지역사회지지로 나타났다. 즉, 자아정체감이 높을수록, 친구지지를 많이 받을수록, 학교에 대한 흥미가 높을수록, 지역사회지지를 많이 받을수록 사회적응이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화가족 자녀의 사회적응에 대한 각 변수들의 영향력은 친구지지가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 다음으로 지역사회지지, 학교에 대한 흥미, 자아정체감 순으로 높은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 다문화가족 자녀의 사회적응 향상과 보호요인 개발을 위한 개입 방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to grasp the protective factors influence upon the social adjustment of children in multi-cultural families and to examine the relative influence of these protective factors. For these aims, it targeted 232 children of multi-cultural families who attended 15 elementary schools and used 16 multi-cultural institutions in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The findings are as follows. First, higher level of social adjustment of children in multi-cultural families was correlated with higher ego-identity, more support from friends, more interest in school and more support from local communities. Secondly, support from friends was indicated to be the most influential among the variables affecting the social adjustment of children in multi-cultural families. The factor having the second highest level of influence was indicated to be support from local communities, followed by interest in school, and then ego-identity.
