예비음악교사를 대상으로 한 융합기반 음악교육 효과성 질적 연구 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 예비음악교사의 미적 경험과 융합 역량 강화를 통한 음악교사 정체성과 수업 전문 성 향상을 목적으로 맥신 그린의 예술교육철학과 LCE 예술교육 및 융합교육의 접점에서 도출 된 수업원리를 바탕으로 설계한 수업의 효과성을 분석한 것이다. 사범대 학부생 예비음악교사 5인을 대상으로 한 학기 12회기에 걸쳐 융합기반 음악교육을 실행한 후 그 효과성을 논의하였 다. 이론-경험-실습의 3단계 수업은 음악 미적 경험을 위한 융합교육의 방법을 통해 실행되었 다. 분석자료로 얻은 수업 산출물 및 인터뷰 내용은 순환적 분석기법을 통해 순환적・반복적인 과정을 거쳐 코딩하였다. 연구참여자들은 교육의 내용과 질에 높은 만족도를 느꼈고, 음악교육 의 목적에 대한 인식에 변화를 보였을 뿐 아니라 음악교사의 태도, 역할, 정체성 확립에 긍정적 인 영향을 받았으며, 수업 전문성도 유의미하게 향상된 것을 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 변화는 교사 로서뿐 아니라 개인의 삶에도 미적 경험이 지속될 수 있도록 음악적 삶으로의 변화를 꾀하는 데까지 확장되었다. 그 동력은 융합기반 음악교육을 통한 미적 경험, 학습공동체 구성, 교사 모 델링, 마이크로티칭, 피드백, 성찰의 반복적이고 직접적인 경험의 효과로 나타났다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the effectiveness of a course designed based on the principles derived from the intersection of Maxine Greene's philosophy of arts education, LCE arts education, and convergence education, aiming to enhance the music teacher identity and pedagogical competence through the reinforcement of aesthetic experiences and convergence capacities of prospective music teachers. The effectiveness of convergence-based music education was discussed after implementing it over 12 sessions during a semester, targeting five prospective music teachers enrolled in a teacher education university. The 3-stage course, consisting of theory, experience, and practice, was executed using convergence education methods to facilitate aesthetic experiences in music. The lesson outputs and interview data obtained for analysis were coded through a recursive coding process using the technique of recursive analysis. The research participants reported high satisfaction with the content and quality of the education and exhibited changes not only in their perception of the purpose of music education but also in the attitudes, roles, and establishment of identity among music teachers. Furthermore, a significant improvement in pedagogical expertise was observed. These changes extended beyond the realm of teaching and aimed to promote a transition towards a more aesthetic-oriented existence in the personal lives of the participants. The driving force behind these transformations was attributed to the effects of aesthetic experiences, the formation of learning communities, teacher modeling, microteaching, feedback, and reflective practices within the context of convergence-based music education.
