국문 초록

이 연구는 대학생이 지각한 미래지향시간관, 심리적 독립과 진로자기주도성의 구조적인 관계를 탐색하고, 심리적 독립이 미래지향시간관과 진로자기주도성의 관계에서 매개효과가 있는지를 살펴보는데 주된 목적이 있다. 연구 대상은 대학생 281명을 대상으로 하였다. 구체적인 연구 문제는 미래지향시간관이 진로자기주도성에 직접적 영향을 미치면서, 심리적 독립을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 부분매개모형과 미래지향시간관이 심리적 독립을 매개로 진로자기주도성에 영향을 미치는 완전매개모형 중 어느 모형이 적합한지를 살펴보고, 심리적 독립의 매개효과도 분석하는 것이었다. 자료분석 방법은 Pearson 적률상관분석, 구조방정식 모델분석을 시행하였고, 매개효과 검증을 위해 부트스래핑(bootstrapping) 분석을 실시하였다. 주요 결과는 첫째, 미래지향시간관은 진로자기주도성에 직접적인 영향을 미치면서 동시에 심리적 독립을 매개로 간접적으로 진로자기주도성에 영향을 미치는 부분매개모형이 적합함을 확인하였다. 둘째, 심리적 독립은 미래지향시간관과 진로자기주도성의 관계에서 통계적으로 유의한 매개효과가 있었다. 이 결과들을 토대로 대학생의 진로자기주도성 강화를 위한 진로교육프로그램 개발 및 운영과 진로상담에서 미래지향시간관과 심리적 독립이 고려되어야 함에 대해 논의하고 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined the relationship between future-oriented time perspective, psychological independence, and career self-directedness among 281 college students. The study compared a partially mediated model, where a future-oriented time perspective both directly and indirectly affected career self-directedness through psychological independence, with a full mediation model, where a future-oriented time perspective influenced career self-directedness solely via psychological independence as a mediator. Pearson correlation analysis, structural equation modeling, and bootstrapping analysis were performed. The results revealed that the partial mediation model, with both direct and indirect effects of future-oriented time perspective on career self-directedness through psychological independence, was the most suitable. Furthermore, psychological independence was found to have a statistically significant mediating effect on the relationship between future-oriented time perspective and career self-directedness. The findings suggest that both future-oriented time perspective and psychological independence should be considered when implementing career education programs and counseling services to enhance college students' career self-directedness.
