교직과 교사의 전문적 자본 영향요인 및 교원전문성 개발 활동과의 관계에 대한 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 Hargreaves와 Fullan(2012)이 제시한 전문적 자본에 대한 선행연구들을 분석하여 기존 연구에서 다루어진 전문적 자본 형성의 영향요인을 살펴보고, 교원전문성 개발활동을 통한 전문적 자본 구축의 사례를 밝힘으로써 향후 전문적 자본과 관련한 연구의 방향을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구 결과, 교사의 성별, 경력, 학력, 학교만족도, 교직만족도, 교장의 리더십이 가장 많은 연구에서 전문적 자본의 영향요인으로 활용되었고, 전문적 자본의 형성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 전문적 자본과 관련한 교원전문성 개발 활동으로는 교사학습공동체, 교육실습, 교원평가에 대한 연구가 있는데, 교사학습공동체와 교육실습을 통한 전문적 자본의 형성은 발견할 수 있었으나, 교원평가를 통한 전문적 자본의 형성은 이루어지지 않고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 전문적 자본에 대한 향후 연구의 방향과 교원전문성 개발 활동의 개선 방향에 대해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the preceding studies on professional capital presented by Hargreaves and Fullan (2012), examines the factors influencing the formation of professional capital covered in previous studies, and find out the case of professional capital construction through teacher professional development activities. The purpose of this study was to suggest the direction of future research related to professional capital. As a result of the study, teachers' gender, career, academic background, school satisfaction, teacher job satisfaction, and principal's leadership were used as the influencing factors of professional capital in the most studies, and it was found that they had a significant influence on the formation of professional capital. Teacher professional development activities include teacher learning community, educational practice, and teacher evaluation. The formation of professional capital through teacher learning community and school field-practice was found, but professional capital was not formed through teacher evaluation. Based on these results, the direction of future research on professional capital and the improvement direction of teacher professional development activities were suggested.
