유치원 만 5세 교육과정의 읽기 쓰기 실행 현황 및 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 유치원 만 5세 교육과정의 읽기 쓰기 실행이 취학 후에도 학습에 영향을 미치게 되므로 유아 중심, 놀이 중심의 교육과정을 발달 수준과 적합하게 편성하여 운영하고 있는지에 대한 명확한 파악을 하고자 하였다. 검토된 실행형태는 교육과정 운영 개선 자료 개발과 흥미와 관심이 반영되고 개별 특성에 적절한 실행이 될 수 있도록 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구 방법은 유치원 만 5세 교육과정 관련 문헌을 중심으로 검토한 다음 내용 체계, 활동 유형 등을 분석한 다음, 만 5세 교사와 만 5세 유아를 면담, 관찰하였다. 자료 수집은 유치원의 만 5세 집중 관찰과 면담, 추가적인 부분 관찰, 면담 등에 응답하는 방식으로 실행연구의 방법을 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 교육과정 실행은 초보적 읽기 쓰기, 문자 지도가 함께 이행되고 있다. 유치원 만 5세 국공립 교사는 유치원 만 5세 사립 교사보다 교수·학습 자료 사용 측면에서 만 5세 교육과정의 읽기 쓰기의 개발 의도를 실천하고 있다. 교육과정의 읽기 쓰기 실행은 교사마다 다른 교수·학습 방법으로 지도하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교사는 친숙한 것, 일상생활을 매개로 놀이처럼 자연스러운 읽기와 쓰기를 이행하는 반면, 흥미와 관심이 무시된 읽기와 쓰기도 이행하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 유치원 교육과정 실행의 교수·학습은 연령에 상관없이 내부의 흥미, 즐거움의 동기를 이용하여 지각, 언어 기초 발달 등의 조화로운 성장과 잠재능력의 발달을 도와야 한다. 따라서 만 5세 사립 교사는 교육과정 실행에서 개발자가 의도한 바대로 유아의 자발적인 동기, 스스로 해봄, 유익함 스스로 알기, 자연스럽게 알기, 쓰기의 즐거움 느끼기 등을 적용해야 한다. 이에 따라 만 5세 교육과정은 몰입 내용을 중심으로 유치원과 초등학교의 긴밀한 협력 체계를 구성해야 하며, 초등학교 1학년 연계 교육은 강조되어야 한다.

영문 초록

In this study, since reading and writing practice of the 5-year-old kindergarten curriculum affects learning even after enrollment, it is necessary to clearly grasp whether the toddler-centered and play-centered curriculum is organized and operated to suit the developmental level. The review form of implementation should reflect the development of materials for improving the operation of the curriculum, interests and interests, and suggest a direction for appropriate implementation in individual characteristics. The research method was review mainly on literature related to the 5-year-old kindergarten curriculum, analyzed the content system and activity type, and then interviewed and observed a 5-year-old teacher and a 5-year-old child. For data collection, the method of action study was applied by responding to the intensive observation and interview, additional partial observations, and interview at the age of 5 in kindergarten. As a result of the study, In the implementation of the curriculum, basic literacy and text instruction are being implemented together. Kindergarten 5-year-old national and public teachers practice the intention of developing reading and writing in the 5-year-old curriculum in terms of using teaching and learning materials than private 5-year-old kindergarten teachers. it was found that the literacy practice of the curriculum was guided by different teaching and learning methods for each teacher. It was found that teachers performed natural reading and writing like play by means of familiar things and daily life, while reading and writing that ignores interest and interest were also performed. Teaching and learning in the implementation of the kindergarten curriculum should support the harmonious growth of perception and basic language development and the development of potential abilities, regardless of age, using internal interests and motives for enjoyment. Therefore, a 5-year-old private teacher should apply the children's voluntary motivation, self-improvement, self-knowledge, natural knowledge, and the enjoyment of writing, as intended by the developer in the curriculum implementation. Accordingly, the 5-year-old curriculum should form a close cooperation system between kindergarten and elementary school centering on the content of immersion, and the first-year elementary school-linked education should be emphasized.
