부산지역 중ㆍ고 학생들의 휴대전화 사용실태와 교육적 지도방안 모색

국문 초록

본 연구는 학생들의 휴대전화 사용실태 및 휴대전화 사용 관련 규정을 조사·분석하고 휴대전화의 교육적 사용 지도방안에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 부산시내 소재 중학교(170개교) 1, 2, 3학년, 고등학교(147개교) 1, 2학년 교당 학년별 2학급의 학생, 학부모를 표집 조사하였으며, 교사는 각 학교의 전체교사를 대상으로 하였고, 결과처리는 엑셀 2002 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석을 하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻은 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 휴대전화 사용으로 시간적·경제적 낭비가 심하다. 둘째, 청소년 시기부터 휴대전화에 대한 의존심리가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 교내 휴대전화 사용 규제에는 학교구성원 대부분이 휴대전화 `사용 제한`에 찬성하고 있으나, 처벌 여부에 대해서는 교사·학부모는 찬성하고 학생은 반대 의견이 많아 이에 대한 합의점이 도출되어야 학생들의 적극적인 참여가 이루어질 것이다. 넷째, 휴대전화 소지 금지 또는 사용 제한에 대하여 학생들의 찬성 비율이 낮은 반면, 교사·학부모는 찬성 비율이 높았다.

영문 초록

The aim of this research is to prevent disorder in the class due to the misuse of students` cellular phones, which has become must-have items, and to discover the proper use of cellular phones in order to guide the students on their appropriate use. For this study, research and analysis were conducted on the status and use of cellular phones at school in conjunction with classroom rules. Targeted in this research were students and parents of first and second period classes for all 170 middle schools and 147 high schools and all the teachers in the city of Busan. Results were determined through frequency analysis using Excel 2002. Conclusions drawn from this research are as follows. First, money and time are ill spent on cellular phones. Second, students are psychologically dependent on their cellular phones. Third, the majority teachers, parents, and students favor having restrictions placed on cell phone use, though students' opinions in regards to punishment differ from parents and teachers. This situation will require all groups to come to and agreement in order to ensure active participation by all members of the schools. Fourth, students whose beliefs differ in terms of restricted cellular phone use need to be educated on justification for this policy. Ways to guide proper use of cellular phones for the students were suggested, too.
