국문 초록

이 연구는 발달장애 특수학교 중등 교사의 고교학점제 도입에 관한 인식을 조사하여 고교학점제가 특수학교에 정착될 수 있는 방안을 탐색하고자 하였다. 경기도 발달장애 특수학교 중등 교사 157명을 대상으로 고교학점제 개념, 교육과정, 운영 및 정착 방안에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였으며 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고교학점제 개념에 대한 인식은 높은 수준이었고 교육과정과 운영 측면에서는 보통 수준의 인식을 보였다. 그러나 근무하는 특수학교의 교육과정을 고교학점제에 적합하게 적용할 수 있다고 생각하는 문항에서는 부정적인 인식을 보였다. 둘째, 교사․ 학교․교육청 차원의 정착 방안에 대한 인식은 보통 수준이었으나, 고교학점제에 대한 교사 연수 활성화와 특수학교 고교학점제 도입에 대해서는 부정적인 인식이 높았다. 고교학점제 정착을 위해서는 학교 환경의 재구조화, 고교학점제, 교육과정, 교수․학습 방법에 대한 연수가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 발달장애 특수학교에서 고교학점제를 정착시킬 수 있는 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the perceptions of secondary school teachers in special schools for the developmental disabilities about the introduction of the high school credit system to explore how the high school credit system can be established in special schools. We surveyed 157 secondary school teachers of a special school with the developmental disabilities in Gyeonggi-do about the concept, curriculum, and operation of the high school credit system, and settlement plans. The main findings are as follows: First, there was a high level of awareness of the concept of high school credit, and a moderate level of awareness of the curriculum and operations. However, when asked if they thought the curriculum of the special school where they work could be adapted to the high school credit system, they expressed negative perceptions. Second, the awareness of the settlement plan at the level of teachers, schools, and education bureaus was moderate, but there was a high level of negative perceptions of activating teacher training for the high school credit system and introducing the high school credit system for special schools. In order to establish a high school credit system, it is necessary to restructure the school environment, provide training on the high school credit system, curriculum, and teaching and learning method. Based on the results of this study, we discussed how to establish a high school credit system in special schools for the developmental disabilities.
