대학생의 계열 및 학년별 비인지적 핵심역량 차이 분석: 자기관리 역량 및 대인관계 역량을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 계열 및 학년의 특성에 따른 대학생의 비인지적 핵심역량인 자기관리 역량 및 대인관계 역량의 차이를 분석하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 부산광역시 소재 A 대학 재학생 778명을 대상으로 한국직업 능력개발원의 한국대학생 핵심역량 진단 시스템(K-CESA)을 활용하여 비인지적 핵심역량을 진단하였다. 대학생의 비인지적 핵심역량 특징을 알아보기 위해 기술 통계 및 상관관계 분석을 실시하였고, 대학생의 배경변인에 따른 핵심역량의 차이를 확인하기 위하여 이원변량분석 및 사후검증을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 비인지적 핵심역량인 자기관리 역량과 대인관계 역량 간에는 통계적으로 유의미한 긍정적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 계열과 학년은 자기관리 역량에 있어서 부분적으로 통계적으로 유의미한 상호작용 효과를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 계열과 학년에 따라서는 대인관계 역량에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았지만, 대인관계 역량의 구성 요인인 조직에 대한 이해는 계열별 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 기존의 대학생의 인지적 핵심역량에 대한 분석과는 달리 대학생의 계열 및 학년의 특성에 따른 비인지적 핵심역량에 대한 차이를 분석함으로써, 각 대학의 교육 프로그램 개발 시에 유의미한 정보를 제공해줄 수 있다는 의의가 있다. 또한, 본 연구의 연구결과는 추후 연구를 통해, 교과목별, 계열별로 다양한 비인지적 핵심역량 강화를 위한 수업 모형을 개발하고, 활용함으로써 관련 이슈들에 체계적으로 대응 할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences of college students' non-cognitive core competencies such as self-management competency and interpersonal relations competency based on their majors and grades. For this purpose, this study employed 778 students in A university, Busan city, and assessed their non-cognitive core competencies by using the Korea Collegiate Essential Skills Assessment (K-CESA) system offered by Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training (KRIVET). Also, it utilized two-way ANOVA and Post-hoc test to investigate whether there were any differences of the college students' non-cognitive core competencies based on their backgrounds of their majors and grades. The main results of this study were as follows. First, there were statistically significantly positive relationships between the students' self-management competency and interpersonal relations competency. Second, there were statistically partly significant interaction effects between their majors and grades with respect to self-management competency. Lastly, there were no statistically significant differences of their overall interpersonal relations competency based on their majors and classes, whereas there were statistically significant differences of 'understanding of organization,' a component of interpersonal relations competency. The overall results imply that each college is recommended to develop and operate diverse individualized and differentiated competency-based educational programs for each major and class to improve their students' non-cognitive core competencies with the help of their sub-organizations of developing educational programs, and deal with the issues related with college students' core competency faithfully and systematically.
