일반학교 특수교육 대상 학생의 고교학점제 운영에 관한 고등학교 특수학급 교사의 인식 및 지원 요구 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 통합교육 환경에서 고등학교 특수학급 담당 특수교사가 인식하는 고교학점제에 대해 살펴보고, 운영 시 필요한 지원에 관한 요구의 우선순위가 어떻게 나타나는지 살펴보고자 하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 고등학교 특수학급 담당 특수교사 총 158명(남성 46명, 여성 112명)을 대상으로 통합교육 환경에서 고교학점제 운영의 인식과 지원 요구에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 우선 특수학급 경력과 고교학점제 연구・선도학교 운영 경험에 따른 집단 간 차이를 살펴보았는데, 집단에 따른 통계적인 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 통합교육 맥락에서 고교학점제 운영을 위해 새로운 전문성 신장에 대한 의지가 높게 나타났고, 지원의 우선순위는 근거 마련을 위한 규정 개정, 자료 개발 및 보급, 진로・직업교육의 내실화, 특수학급 교육과정 운영, 고등학교 특수교육 대상 학생 진단・평가 및 선정・배치, 특수학급 담당 특수교사, 고교학점제 기반 특수학급 운영 등 총 7개로 유목화하여 볼 수 있었다. 이에 대해 성공적인 통합교육 맥락에서 고교학점제 운영을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception of high school credit systems among special education teachers in charge of special classes in the context of inclusion, and to identify the priorities for necessary support in their operation. To achieve this, a survey was conducted on 158 special education teachers (46 males, 112 females) in charge of high school special classes in the context of inclusion, regarding their perception and support requirements for the operation of the high school credit system. First of all, the difference between the groups according to the special class teaching experience (less than 5 years or more than 5 years) or the experience in research and leadership in the operation of the high school credit system was examined, but there was no statistical difference according to the group. The respondents showed a strong willingness to develop new professional skills in order to operate the high school credit system in the context of inclusive education. The priorities for support were identified in 7 dimensions, including revision of regulations for evidence-based decision making, development and dissemination of materials, strengthening career education, special class curriculum operation, diagnosis and evaluation of students, special education teacher support, and operation of special classes for the high school credit system. Based on these findings, implications for the successful operation of the high school credit system in the context of inclusive education were suggested.
