국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정의 창의융합형 인재상의 성격과 특징에 관한 분석을 바탕으로 역량기반 교육과정을 통한 창의성 교육의 가능성과 한계를 탐색하였다. 개정 교육과정 총론과 해설서 그리고 관련 연구들에 대한 분석적 탐색을 통하여, 국가교육과정 체제 하에서 창의성 교육이 갖는 근본적 긴장을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 교육과정 총론에서 구분 없이 통용되는 ‘창의적인 사람’, ‘창의융합형 인재’, 그리고 ‘창의적 사고 역량’ 개념이 교육과정 총론의 위계적구조에 따라 엄격히 구분된다는 분석을 바탕으로 총론에 나타난 ‘인간상’과 ‘인재상’ 사이에 의미상 차이가 존재한다는 점과 인간상과 인재상 개념이 이중 구조를 이루며 갈등한다는 점을 확인하였다. 또한, 역량기반 교육과정의 특징을 갖는 현행 교육과정에서 ‘역량’ 개념이 갖는 이중적 성격을 분석하였고 이를 바탕으로 창의성 교육에서 ‘역량’의 일반적 성격이 자기모순을 초래한다는 점, ‘역량’의 매개적 성격에 애매성이 존재한다는 점, 그리고 교과 교육을 통해 길러지는 역량의 성격이 불분명하다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 분석과 논의를 바탕으로, 창의융합형 인재 양성을 위한 역량기반 교육과정의 안착을 위한 과제를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study explores the possibilities and limitations of creativity education through competency-based curriculum by analysing the nature and characteristics of talents with synthetic creativity presented in the 2015 revised national curriculum. Through the analytical exploration of the introduction and the handbook of the national curriculum and related research, this study identified the deep-rooted tensions between the national curriculum and creativity education. Especially, it was found out the concepts like creative person, talents with synthetic creativity, and competency of creative thinking are used without rigid conceptual classification, and are classified strictly in accordance with hierarchical structure of the introduction of curriculum. Additionally, this study found the existence of discrepancy between the meanings of the Ideal of Educated Person and Talents with Synthetic Creativity; and the fact that the two concepts conflict with each other forming double structure. Furthermore, this study analysed double characters of competency as a key element of contemporary national curriculum. Based on this analysis, this study identified the fact that generality of competency in creativity education commits self-contradiction; and that ambiguity exists in the mediating role of competency; and that the competency to be fostered through subject-matter education has obscure meaning. With these analyses and discussions, this study suggests several tasks to ensure the safe arrival of competency-based curriculum for the cultivation of the talents with synthetic creativity.
