국문 초록

영재가 공동의 목적과 목표를 위해 효과적으로 협력하는 지덕체를 겸비한 사회지도자가 될 수 있도록 영재리더십 교육프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 관련 연구를 토대로 영재리더십을 ‘영재 개인이나 공동체의 비전을 구성원들과 함께 창출해 내어, 그러한 비전을 향해 함께 나아갈 수 있도록 배려하고 안내하여 이끌어 주는 과정’으로 정의하였고, 자기관리리더십, 타인배려리더십, 협력적 문제해결 리더십을 영재리더십의 주요소로 설정하였으며, 포커스그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 통해 영재리더십 프로그램 모형을 개발하였다. 자기관리리더십의 하위역량으로 자기진단능력, 개인비젼생성 및 실현능력, 자기관리능력, 타인배려리더십의 하위역량으로 공감적 의사소통능력, 갈등관리능력, 비젼공유능력, 협력적 문제해결 리더십의 하위역량으로 타인과 함께하는 능력, 실제적 문제해결 능력, 효율적 의사결정 능력을 설정하여 구체적인 프로그램을 개발하였다.

영문 초록

There has been an amounting interest and subjects in gifted education in recent years as a number of studies dealt with the development of gifted education programs. However, leadership program area remained as a low profile in developing educational programs and materials that meet the varying curiosities and needs of gifted students with a focus on their characteristic development. This study developed a leadership program, or democratic leadership for the gifted. Leadership has been a designated talent area in the definition of gifted students who require a differentiated program. While there is no single best definition of leadership, we assume the leadership for the gifted as a democratic and reflective leadership. The reflective leader is influential through the force of his or her ideas and the communication with others. Students gifted in any of the talent areas have the potential to lead by contributing influential ideas to their chosen fields and by communicating and gathering others' thoughts and opinions. To be a reflective leader, self-control, caring and cooperative problem solving leadership are needed. We made a plan for developing these leaderships.
