자기조절기눙 향상을 위한 GBS 수업 모형 적용의 효과 - 메타인지기능 향상을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 구성주의 학습자 즉, 학습자의 자기조절기능 향상을 위한 방법으로 개별학습자를 구성주의 학습환경에 노출시킴으로써 학습자 스스로 학습과정 상에서의 역할과 임무를 수행하는 과정에서 저절로 자기조절기능이 향상되도록 하기 위해 면대면 Goal-Based Scenario 수업모형을 개발하여 적용하였다. 이 연구에 참여한 학습자는 지방 전문대학에 재학 중인 23 명의 학습자이며, GBS 수업모형이 자기조절기능에 대한 효과를 검증하기 위해서 단일집단전후검사설계 (one-group pretest-posttestdesign)를 하였고, 독립표본 t-test로 그 결과를 확인했다. 그 결과, GBS 수업모형이 전체직인 자기조절기능의 향상에는 유의미한 결과를 얻지 못하였지만, 메타인지기능의 향상에는 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 GBS 수업모형이 학습자 스스로의 능동적인 참여와 팀워크 활동에 기반을 둔 학습자 간의 구체직인 계획 활동이 선행되어야 함으로써, 이러한 연습의 기회가 많이 주어진 것이 영향이 있었던 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to apply a goal-based scenario model that would be helpful in promoting students' self-regulated skills. A goal-based scenario is a type of a competency-based education which places its emphasis on the development of core competencies of individual learner while he/she engages in realistic, authentic tasks, such as the development of student' self-regulated skills. GBS is based on the constructivist viewpoint of knowledge and learning. For this study, an original GBS model was revised to face-to-face learning environment. Participants in this study were 23 junior-college students. They were taught in face-to-face environment over 5weeks. Participants always assigned their individual roles, and they had to complete their assignment per each week SRLS questionnaires were administered before and after learning. Although results from the study showed that applying of GBS model did not improve the use of SRS, but meta-cognitive skill showed to be improve. It seems to have potential of contributing to improving the students' SRS in a constructive teaching and learning environments. In light of such finding, the constructive learning environment (such as GBS) may be able to be influence students' SRS and helpful researchers want to study for promoting students' basic learning skills.
