국문 초록

인류는 알타미라 벽화에 그림을 그리면서 앎을 만들어내고 이를 전달하고자 했을 때부터 다양한 매체와 방법을 통해 오늘날에 이르기까지 수많은 지식을 산출해오고 있다. 현대 사회에서 우리는 필요한 앎을 어떻게 만들어내고 어떻게 소비하고 있는가에 대한 분석을 통해 현대 사회의 앎의 특징을 밝혀볼 필요가 있다는 연구의 의도를 가지고 출발하였다. 그래서 우선 인문학적, 사회과학적, 정보학적 의미에서 앎의 의미를 살펴보았고, 현대 사회의 앎이 생산방식의 특징을 집단지성과 1인미디어의 결합이라는 측면에서 분석하였다. 그리고 지식생산과 지식소비의 대표적인 매체라고 할 수 있는 유튜브의 의미를 긍, 부정적 측면에서 윤리적인 검토를 하였다. 이러한 분석을 통해 지식생산과 소비의 새로운 플랫폼이 갖는 윤리적 의미를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Humans have been producing a lot of knowledge through various media and methods from the time when they created and tried to convey knowledge by painting on the Altamira murals to the present day. This study was started with the intention that it is necessary to reveal the characteristics of knowledge in modern society through analysis of how we create and consume the knowledge we need in modern society. In this study, first, the meaning of knowing in the humanities, social sciences, and informatics meanings was reviewed, and it was analyzed in terms of the combination of collective intelligence and one-person media, a characteristic of the production method of knowledge in modern society. And the meaning of YouTube, which can be said to be a representative medium for knowledge production and knowledge consumption, was ethically reviewed from both positive and negative aspects. Through this analysis, in this study, the ethical meaning of YouTube, which can be said to be a new platform for knowledge production and consumption, was analyzed.
