대학생의 직업가치관-전공 일치도와 전공적응도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 맞춤형 교육 지원 시스템 개발의 기초를 마련하기 위해 직업가치관-전공 일치도와 전공적응도의 관계를 살펴보고, 직업가치관-전공 일치도와 전공적응도가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향, 그리고 전공적응도의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 수도권 4년제 A 대학교의 재학생을 대상으로 온라인으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 총 306명의 응답을 활용하여 직업가치관-전공 일치도, 전공적응도, 학업성취도 간의 중다회귀분석과 매개효과를 검증하였다. 그 결과로 첫째, 직업가치관-전공 일치도가 높을수록 전공적응도도 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 둘째, 직업가치관-전공 일치도, 전공적응도가 높을수록 대학생의 전공 성취도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 전공적응도는 직업가치관-전공 일치도와 학업성취도를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 학업성취도를 예측하는 데 있어서 ‘전공적응도’ 측정을 위한 간섭 없이 직업가치관-전공 일치도만으로도 예측이 가능하다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the relationships between college students' work value-major congruence and major adjustment and the effect of work value-major congruence and major adjustment on their academic achievement, in order to provide the foundations for the development of a personalized education support system for college students. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted for students enrolled in A university in Seoul. Multiple regression analysis and mediating effects were verified among work value-major congruence, major adjustment, and academic achievement for a total of 306 students. As a result of the study, first of all, it was found that the higher the degree of congruence between work values and major, the higher the degree of adjustment to the major. Second, the higher the degree of work value-major congruence and major adjustment, the higher the achievement of college students. Third, the degree of adjustment to the major mediates work values-major congruence and academic achievement. The results of this study suggest that, in predicting academic achievement, it is possible to predict academic achievement only with work value-major congruence without interference to measure 'major adjustment'.
