국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 중고령 발달장애인 사회복지시설 서비스 종사자들이 갖추어야 할 역량에 관한 인식을 파악하는 데에 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 중고령 발달장애인 당사자 및 보호자, 사회복지시설 서비스 종사자, 학계 전문가 세 차원의 총 14명을 대상으로 포커스그룹인터뷰를 실시하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료를 분석하기 위해 Strauss와 Corbin이 주로 활용하였던 개방 코딩에 의한 도식적 범주화 방식을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과: 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 131개의 개념과 12개의 하위범주, 4개의 상위범주를 도출하였다. 상위범주로는 중고령 발달장애인 서비스 현실과 변화의 노력, 종사자 교육과정의 탐색과 개발, 종사자 교육과정 운영의 실제와 교육기관의 역할, 중고령 발달장애인을 위해 추진해 나가야 할 정책과 제도의 방향 등이다. 제언: 이러한 결과를 토대로 기존 교육과 차별화된 현장 맞춤형 종사자 교육프로그램 개발, 실제 현장에서 요구하는 다학제(多學際)적인 접근과 연구 필요, 현장의 목소리를 담은 전문가 강사의 차별화된 교육, 장애인복지와 노인복지 간 연계 및 통합 방안에 대한 모색, 전문적인 서비스 매뉴얼 개발 보급, 현장의 변화에 신속하게 반영할 수 있는 종사자 교육프로그램의 지속적인 연구와 개발 필요, 중고령 발달장애인 사회복지시설 서비스 종사자 역량개발 확대를 위한 제도적 개선 및 기반 마련 등의 중고령 발달장애인 대상의 사회복지시설 서비스 제공을 위해 종사자들의 역량 강화를 위한 실천적 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to grasp the perception of the competencies that social welfare facility service workers with middle-aged and developmental disabilities should have. To this end, focus group interviews were conducted on a total of 14 people with middle-aged and elderly developmental disabilities, social welfare facility service workers, and academic experts to collect data. In order to analyze the collected data, the schematic categorization method by open coding, which was mainly used by Strauss and Corbin, was applied and analyzed. The results of this study derived 131 concepts, 12 subcategories, and 4 upper categories. Top categories include the reality and change of services for middle and old developmental disabilities, the exploration and development of worker curriculum, the role of educational institutions and the direction of policies and systems to be pursued for middle and old developmental disabilities. Based on these results, the institutional infrastructure for social workers with disabilities to develop education programs differentiated from existing education, multi-disciplinary approaches and research required in the field, differentiated education by expert instructors, development and integration of professional service manuals, and development of social welfare programs.
