단과대학별 신입생의 핵심역량 변화량에 영향을 미치는 교육만족도 요인 탐색: 대면과 온라인, 병행 수업상황의 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 대면-대면 및 대면-온라인, 온라인-병행 수업상황에서 대학 신입생들의 개인적 요인과 교육적 요인이 핵심역량의 변화량에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 파악하는 데 목적을 두고 진행되었다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여, N대학교에 2018-2020학년도 입학한 신입생 2,421명을 연구대상으로 하였으며, 1학년에서 2학년 사이의 핵심역량 변화량을 종속변인으로 하여 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, N대학교 신입생들의 핵심역량은 대면-대면 수업상황에서 가장 크게 향상되었고, 온라인-병행 수업상황에서는 대면-대면 수업상황에서 보다는 적지만 향상되었고, 대면-온라인 수업상황에서는 감소하였다. 그러나 핵심역량 변화량은 단과대학별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 공과대학 신입생의 핵심역량은 모든 수업상황에서 감소한 반면, 보건의료복지대학 신입생의 핵심역량은 모든 수업상황에서 향상되었다. 글로벌상경대학 신입생의 핵심역량은 대면-대면 수업상황에서는 큰 폭으로 상승한 반면, 대면-온라인 수업상황에서는 소폭 상승하였고 온라인-병행 수업상황에서는 소폭 감소하였다. 창조문화예술대학 신입생의 핵심역량은 대면-대면 수업상황에서는 다른 단과대학의 3배 이상 향상되었고, 대면-온라인 수업상황과 온라인-병행 수업상황에서는 감소한 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 대학교육만족도 하위영역 중에서는 교육과정 초기값과 교육성과 초기값이 높고, 교육과정 변화량과 교육성과 변화량이 증가할 때, 핵심역량이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 핵심역량 변화량에 영향을 미치는 요인은 단과대학별로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 공과대학은 교육과정 초기값이 높고 교육과정 변화량이 클수록 핵심역량이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었고, 글로벌상경대학은 수업의 질과 교육성과 변화량이 클수록 핵심역량이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 보건의료복지대학은 교육과정 초기값이 높고, 교육성과 변화량이 클수록 핵심역량이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었고, 창조문화예술대학은 교육의 질과 교육성과 초기값이 높고, 교육성과와 교육환경 변화량이 클수록 핵심역량이 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 신입생들의 핵심역량을 향상시키기 위해 단과대학 특성에 맞는 차별적인 지원전략이 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to understand how personal and educational factors affect the changes in core competencies of college freshmen in face-to-face, online, and parallel classes. To achieve the purpose of the study, 2,421 freshmen who entered N University in the 2018-2020 school year were the subject of the study. The research results are as follows. First, the core competencies of N University freshmen improved the most in the face-to-face, but improved to a lesser extent than the face-to-face in the parallel, and decreased in the online classes. However, the change in core competencies was found to vary by college. While the core competencies of freshmen at the College of Engineering decreased in all classes, it at the College of Health and Welfare improved in all classes. It at the Global College of Commerce and Commerce increased significantly in the face-to-face, while it increased slightly in the online and decreased in the parallel. It can be seen that at the College of Creative Arts and Culture improved more than three times in the face-to-face, and decreased in the online and parallel. Second, it was found that core competency increased when the initial value of the curriculum and educational performance were high and the change in the curriculum and educational performance increased. However, factors affecting the change in core competencies were found to vary by college. In the College of Engineering, it was found that the higher the initial value of the curriculum and the greater the change in the curriculum, the higher the core competency. In the Global University of Commerce, it was found that increased as the quality of classes and educational performance increased. In the College of Health and Welfare, it was found that increased as the initial value of the curriculum was high and change in educational performance increased. In the College of Creative Arts and Culture, it was found that increased as the initial value of education quality and educational performance were high, and change in the educational performance and educational environment increased. Through this, it was suggested that a differentiated support strategy suitable for the characteristics of the college is needed to improve the core competencies of new students.
