대학생 핵심역량 측정도구 개발 및 타당화 연구: A대학교 사례를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 수도권에 소재한 중규모대학인 A대학교 재학생의 핵심역량을 진단하는 측정도구를 개발하고 타당화 하는 것이다. 연구 방법으로는 2020년 9월부터 11월에 걸쳐 A대학교 학부생을 대상으로 2차례에 걸친 예비조사를 실시하여 6개의 핵심역량, 110개 문항을 선정한 뒤, 2021년 3월 23일부터 4월 4일까지 본 조사를 통해 얻은 3,381명의 자료를 SPSS 26, AMOS 26.0 프로그램을 활용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 빈도분석(frequency analysis)으로 평균, 표준편차, 왜도, 첨도 등을 검토하였다. 둘째, 탐색적 요인분석(exploratory factor analysis, EFA)으로 도구들을 구성하고 있는 문항과 도구측정의 정확성과 요인 차원의 독립성을 검증하였다. 셋째, 내적일치도(Cronbach's α)로 측정문항들의 구성요인에 대해 내적일관성을 확인하였다. 넷째, 최종 문항에 대한 확인적 요인분석(confirmatory factor analysis, CFA)을 하였다. 다섯째, 핵심역량별로 평균 분산 추출(average variance extracted, AVE)과 개념 신뢰도(construct reliability, CR)를 구하고, 상관분석(correlation analysis)을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 각 요인별 내적 일관성 신뢰도(Cronbach’s α)는 .70 이상 이었으며, 핵심역량 전체 측정모형의 확인적 요인분석 결과도 모든 적합도 지수가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 각 역량별 확인적 요인분석 결과, 개념 신뢰도(CR) .70 이상, 분산추출지수(AVE) .50 이상으로 나타나 신뢰성과 타당성을 확보하였다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 A대학교 핵심역량 진단도구는 타당도와 신뢰도를 갖춘 적절한 측정도구인 것으로 판명되었다. 본 측정도구는 A 대학교 학생의 핵심역량을 진단하고 관리하는데 활용할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 대학의 교육정책 방향에 부합하는 역량기반 교육과정의 선순환 과정에서 근거자료로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a measurement tool for diagnosing the core competencies of students enrolled in University A, a medium-sized university located in the metropolitan area. From September to November 2020, a preliminary survey was conducted twice for undergraduate students at University A, and 6 core competencies and 110 survey questions were selected. The main survey was conducted from March 23 to April 4, 2021, and the data of 3,381 people were analyzed using SPSS 26 and AMOS 26.0 programs. First, the mean, standard deviation, why, and kurtosis were reviewed as a frequency analysis. Second, through exploratory factor analysis, the items constituting the tools and the accuracy of instrument measurement and the independence of factor dimensions were verified. Third, the internal consistency of the constituent factors of the measurement items was confirmed with the internal consistency degree (Cronbach's α). Fourth, confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) was performed on the final question. Fifth, average variance extracted(AVE) and construct reliability(CR) were obtained for each core competency, and correlation analysis was performed. As a result of this study, the reliability of internal consistency (Cronbach's α) for each factor was higher .70 and the results of confirmatory factor analysis of the overall core competency measurement model showed that all fitness indices were good. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis for each competency, the concept reliability(CR) was higher .70 and the variance extraction index(AVE) was higher .50, which secured reliability and validity. It was confirmed that the core competency measurement tools of A University developed through this study has appropriate validity and reliability. This measurement tool is meaningful in that it can be used not only to diagnose and manage the core competencies of A university students, but also to use it as evidence in the virtuous cycle of the competency-based curriculum that meets the university's educational policy direction.
