생태유아교육의 이해와 실천과정에 대한 교사의 반성적 사고

국문 초록

본 연구는 교사가 생태유아교육을 이해하고 실천하는 과정에 대한 반성적 사고를 실시하여 교사가 갖고 있는 갈등과 생태유아교육의 의미 발견의 경험을 분석한 다음;생태유아교육을 실시하는 교사 지원을 위한 기초를 마련하는 데에 그 목적을 두었다. 교사의 반성적 사고를 분석한 결과 교사는 생태유아교육을 몇 개의 제한된 프로그램으로 인식하고 있었고;생태유아교육 교사의 역할을 이해하는 데에도 어려움을 보였다. 생태유아교육을 실천하는 과정에서 교사는 스스로 자신 없어 하는 프로그램의 운영과 부족한 지원 때문에 어려움을 경험하는 것으로 분석되었다. 하지만 반성적 사고를 반복 실시하면서 교사는 하나의 독립된 교육과정으로 생태유아교육을 이해하고;생태유아교사 역할의 의미를 찾기 시작하였다. 앞으로 실시될 생태유아교육 교사 지원프로그램에서는 새로운 패러다임으로서의 생태유아교육의 의미를 강조해야 할 것이다. 또한 교사가 실제로 생태유아교육 프로그램에 참여하고 생태교육의 의미를 찾아보는 반성적 사고의 기회가 포함된 교사 지원 프로그램의 계획도 필요 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The main purpose of this study was to provide basic principles to support the teachers who practice eco-early childhood education To do so;teachers reflective thinking was applied to the understanding and practice of eco-early childhood education;allowing analysis of its conflicts and significances. The analysis revealed that teachers considered eco-early childhood education limited and found it hard to understand the role of the eco-early childhood teacher. It also highlighted difficulties arising from poor support;and a lack of confidence in managing the program. On the positive side;however;repetitive reflective thinking allowed the teachers to begin grasping the concept of eco-early childhood education as an independent program;and to start understanding teachers role within it. This means that the future support for eco-early childhood education must emphasize its significance as a new paradigm;and that program planning is vital-such programs can support teachers by allowing them to participate and come;through reflective thinking;to realize the significance of eco-early childhood education.
