반사회적 경향성에 대한 기독교상담적 접근

국문 초록

최근 청소년 비행과 관련된 일탈행동들이 증가하고 있으며, 범죄행위에 이르기까지 다양한 사회문제로 부각되고 있다. 이러한 청소년기의 반사회적 행동이 성인이 되면서 심각한 병리적 현상과, 범죄행위로 발전할 수 있다는 것이 더 큰 문제라고 볼 수 있다. 이처럼 청소년들의 일탈행동이 자신을 비롯하여 타인에게 피해를 줄 수 있기 때문에 부정적으로 해석될 수 있다. 그러나 Winnicott은 이러한 반사회적 행동을 긍정적으로 해석하고 있으며, 오히려 희망을 나타내는 행동으로 보고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 청소년들에게 나타나는 반사회적 경향성을 ‘희망’의 관점에서 Winnicott의 대상관계 이론을 중심으로 연구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 사례연구 방법론을 채택하였다. 두 명의 십대 청소년 내담자들이 연구참여자로 선정되었다. 청소년기에 나타나는 반사회적 행동을 긍정적으로 해석할 수 있으며 긍정적으로 해석할 경우 희망을 발견할 수 있음을 살펴보았다. Winnicott의 반사회적 경향성에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 기독교상담 현장이 충분히 좋은 환경을 제공할 수 있는 공간이 되도록 해야 한다. 또한 반사회적 경향성을 가진 청소년들에게 하나님의 ‘안아주기’ 환경 제공을 통해 전인적인 치유와 회복을 기대한다.

영문 초록

In recent years, the delinquent behaviors related to misbehavior of adolescents have been on the rise and emerged as various social issues, including criminal behaviors. More importantly, these antisocial behaviors of adolescents may lead to serious pathological phenomena and criminal behaviors when they reach adulthood. As such, delinquent behaviors of adolescents can be negatively interpreted as they can do harm to others as well as themselves. However, Winnicott interprets these antisocial behaviors as positive and considers them a sign of hope. In this line, this study attempted to investigate the antisocial tendencies of adolescents in the perspective of ‘hope’, focusing on the Object Relation Theory of Winnicott. To this end, this study employed a case study methodology. Two teenage visitors were selected as the participants of the study. It was found that the antisocial behaviors in adolescence can be positively interpreted, which in turn can lead to a hope. The settings of Christian counseling should be a space where a good environment is provided, based on the understanding of Winnicott’s antisocial tendencies. In addition, the provision of the God’ ‘holding’ environment to adolescents with antisocial tendencies is expected to create a holistic therapy and recovery.
