국문 초록

본 연구는 크리스천 남성 동성애자의 삶의 이야기에 대한 질적 연구로 모태교인 남성 동성애자를 대상으로 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 참여자 선택 방법은 의도적 표본추출이다. 자료 분석은 Lieblich, Tuval-Mashiach, & Zilber의 내러티브 분석법으로 진행되었다. 이는 크리스천 남성 동성애자의 삶의 경험에 초점을 두고 삶의 이야기 주제들을 범주화 하는데 유용하기 때문이다. 내러티브분석방법은 3명에 의한 삼각 검증법으로 진행되었으며, 분석 후, 연구 참여자들에게 보내어져 재확인과 승인을 받았다. 이러한 과정을 통해 자료를 분석한 결과, 5개 범주, 12개 하위영역, 39개의 개념이 돌출되었다. 각 범주는 자기이해 혼란, 성적지향성 드러내기 갈등, 가족과의 관계 혼란, 대인관계의 혼란, 신앙의 혼란 등이다. 분석한 결과는 전인적 안녕 모형으로 논의를 통해 크리스천 남성 동성애자에 대한 기독상담사로서의 상담방안을 모색하고, 본 연구의 의의와 추후 연구를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is a qualitative study of the life story of Christian male homosexuals. Participants were selected using purposeful sampling technique among male homosexuals from Christian background, and data were collected through in-depth interviews. To firmly focus on the experiences of the individuals and categorize the topics of their life stories, the analysis of data was carried out with Lieblich, Tuval-Mashiach, & Zilber’s narrative analysis method. Such narrative analysis was conducted through triangulation by three people, and afterwards sent to the research participants for reconfirmation and final approval. Through this process, 5 categories, 12 subcategories and 39 concepts emerged. Each section includes topics such as tumult in self-understanding, conflict in revealing sexual orientation, trouble in relations with family, confusion in interpersonal relationships, and crisis of faith. After discussion of the resulting Wellness model, a counseling measure for Christian counselors regarding the targeted group was sought.
