기독대학생의 용서성향이 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 기독대학생의 용서성향과 외상 후 성장과의 관계에서 적응적인 인지적 정서조절전략의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 20세 이상 29세 이하이고 주관적 고통 점수를 4점 이상으로 응답한 기독대학생 220명이었으며, 구조방정식 모델을 사용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, 용서성향과 외상 후 성장, 적응적인 인지적 정서조절전략은 모두 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 용서성향이 외상 후 성장에 영향을 미치는 관계에서 적응적인 인지적 정서조절전략이 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 용서성향이 강한 사람일수록 적응적인 인지적 정서조절전략을 사용하여 외상 이후 긍정적인 변화와 성장을 더 잘 경험한다는 것을 의미한다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 외상을 경험한 기독대학생들의 외상 후 성장을 증진하기 위한 기독상담장면에서의 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effect of adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies between posttraumatic growth and disposition to forgive of Christian university students. 220 data of Korean Christian university students were analyzed by using the structural equation model. The results of the analysis are as follows: First, There was a significant positive correlation among disposition to forgive, posttraumatic growth, and adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. This means that the stronger one’s disposition to forgive is, the more one experiences positive change and growth after trauma, and uses the adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies better. In addition, the effect of dispostion to forgive on adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies was completely mediated by adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. This implies that disposition to forgive influences posttraumatic growth through adaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies. Based on these results, this study gives some suggestions of Christian counseling.
