증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화교육 활동이 만2세 영아의 놀이성과 자연친화적 태도에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화교육 활동을 구안하여 만2세 영아의 자연친화적 태도와 놀이성에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 충청북도 C시에 위치한 어린이집 2곳 만2세반 영아 28명을 대상으로 선정하여 증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화 교육활동을 실시한 실험집단과 표준보육과정에 기초한 자연탐구활동을 실시한 비교집단으로 구분하였다. 활동 적용은 10주간 진행되었으며 영아의 놀이성을 측정하기 위하여 Barnett(1991)가 유아의 놀이성 척도(Children s Playfulness Scale)를 기초로 윤상인(2011)이 만2세 영아의 발달수준에 적합하게 수정·보완한 검사도구를 사용하였다. 자연친화적 태도를 측정하기 위한 검사도구는 Musser와 Diamond(1999)의 CATES-PV를 추엄예(2016)가 수정한 것을 사용하였다. 자료분석을 위해 SPSS/WIN ver. 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 t-검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화 교육활동을 실시한 집단에서 놀이성의 하위요인 중 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성 그리고 즐거움 표현에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화 교육활동을 적용한 집단이 일반적 활동을 적용한 집단보다 자연친화적 태도의 하위요인 중 ‘동·식물에 대한 애호’, ‘생명에 대한 존중의식’ 그리고 ‘자연물에 대한 사랑표현’에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화교육 활동은 영아의 놀이성 및 자연친화적 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 효율적인 교육활동임이 입증되었음을 시사하며, 앞으로 유아교육현장에서 증강현실(AR)을 활용한 자연친화 교육을 활용한 다양한 활동의 기반을 만든것에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study devised nature-friendly educational activities using augmented reality (AR) and tried to investigate the effects on nature-friendly attitudes and playability of 2-year-old infants. Two daycare centers located in C city of Chungcheongbuk-do were divided into an experimental group that selected 28 2-year-old children and conducted nature-friendly educational activities using augmented reality (AR) and a comparison group that conducted nature exploration activities based on a standard childcare course did. The activity application was conducted for 10 weeks. In order to measure the playfulness of infants, Barnett (1991) based on the Children s Playfulness Scale, and Sangin Yoon (2011) modified it to suit the developmental level of a 2-year-old infant. A supplementary inspection tool was used. As a test tool to measure nature-friendly attitude, Musser and Diamond (1999) s CATES-PV modified by Chu Eomye (2016) was used. For data analysis, SPSS/WIN ver. The t-test was performed using the 21.0 program. As a result of the study, first, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, and expression of pleasure among the sub-factors of playability in the group that conducted nature-friendly educational activities using augmented reality (AR). Second, the group that applied nature-friendly educational activities using augmented reality (AR) compared to the group that applied general activities, love for animals and plants , consciousness of respect for life and natural objects among the sub factors of nature-friendly attitude It was found that there was a statistically significant difference in expression of love for This suggests that nature-friendly educational activities using augmented reality (AR) have been proven to be efficient educational activities that have a positive effect on infant playfulness and nature-friendly attitudes. It is significant in creating a basis for various activities using nature-friendly education.
