한국의 전통문화콘텐츠와 기독교 문화콘텐츠의 조우(遭遇)를 통한 『기독교교육 문화콘텐츠』의 개발 가능성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국의 전통문화콘텐츠 연구를 통한 ‘기독교교육 문화콘텐츠의 개발’ 가능성을 살펴보기 위해서 문헌연구와 설문조사 및 설문분석을 수행하였다. 본 연구는 경기도, 인천, 서울 지역을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였는데, 경기도의 5지역, 인천광역시 2지역, 서울시 6지역을 설문조사 지역으로 삼았다. 이 지역으로 설문대상을 국한시킨 것은 행정구역별로 볼 때 전국에서 서울특별시, 인천광역시, 경기도에 개신교 분포도가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났지만, 경기도와 서울시 전체 지역별 개신교 비율과 각 지 역내 개신교 비율의 큰 차이 때문에 설문의 타당도가 있다고 사료 된다. 학교교육의 매체인 교과서의 개발 및 활용을 통해서 한국의 전통문화콘텐츠와 기독교 문화콘텐츠의 조우가 가능함을 알 수 있다. 또한 한국의 전통문화 콘텐츠와 기독교 문화콘텐츠는 서로 반목하는 관계가 아니라 양립가능하며 조력하는 관계임을 추론할 수 있다. 한국의 전통적 윤리인 효도, 인내, 어진사람, 형제우애의 설문항목에 대하여 기독교 청소년들이 비기독교 청소년들보다 더인식하고 있다는 사실이 연구자의 그런 가정을 지지해 준다. 물론 이러한 연구결과는 대한민국 청소년의 인식이라고 일반화시키는 것은 연구의 한계임을 인정한다. 마지막으로 한국 전통문화콘텐츠가 내재된 스토리텔링의 원형을 개발하여 드라마, 영상 및 영화 등 ‘엔터테인먼트 스토리텔링’에 기초한 기독교교육 문화콘텐츠의 개발 가능성을 희망해 본다.

영문 초록

Today, we live in a postmodern era; nevertheless, no one denies that our traditions and cultural effects on high school students last until adulthood. The goal of this paper is to search for an alternative cultural content of Christian religious education with a concept of entertainment storytelling towards Korean tradition and Christian religious education unity. This paper is a designed experiment to view the high-school students understanding of cultural contents on cultural contents of school textbooks from a first grade to third grade level across Seoul, Gyunggi province, and Inchon. The measurements of an effect of cultural contents from both school textbooks and a prejudice of school teachers were conducted through the form of a questionnaire. This study was conducted for two years. Related to this study, the previous study was to provide the educators with the significance of Christian religious education related to ‘cultural contents’ and Christian cultural contents. In addition, the previous study reviews the relationship between public schools and Korean religious traditions. The purpose of this paper is as follows: First, this paper compared understanding of Christian students to non Christian students broadly based on students’ concerns about school textbooks. Secondly, it reviews students evaluation by considering the meaning of what Korean religious traditions is by analyzing entertainment storytelling from textbooks in public schools. Thirdly, the results of the questionnaire show that Christian students are much aware of the significance of relationship between Christian cultural contents, Korean religious traditions,and entertainment storytelling. This is an important finding of the influence of entertainment storytelling style textbooks on public schools that high school students have developed a deepening Christian cultural content and Korean cultural content.
