국문 초록

본 연구는 초등 교사들이 인식하는 소인수학급 복식체육수업을 토대로 장점과 단점, 개선방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 목적달성을 위해 경상남도 소재의 초등학교에서 소인수학급 복식체육수업을 경험한 교사 25명이 연구에참여하였고, 개방형 설문과 심층면담을 통해 의미 있는 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 소인수학급 복식체육수업은 학년구분 없이 모든 학년에서 효과가 있고, 타 교과 복식수업에 비해 큰 어려움이 없는 것으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 소인수학급 복식체육수업의 정점은 상호작용 기회 확대, 효율적인 학습, 동기부여의 세 영역으로 범주화되었다. 셋째,학년 간 차이, 수업운영, 수업관리 측면에서 복식체육수업의 단점으로 나타났다. 끝으로, 소인수학급 복식체육수업의 개선방안은 교사자질 및 전문성 향상, 교사지원체계 구축, 상호작용 기회 확대, 제도 개선, 효율적인 운영 등으로 제안하였다. 이상의 결과는 소규모 복식체육수업의 질적 향상을 도모하고, 대안 마련을 위한 근거자료로 활용되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the advantages, disadvantages and improvement plans based on thesmall scale double-grade physical education classes recognized by elementary school teachers. In order toachieve the goal, 25 teachers who experienced small scale double-grade physical education class in elementaryschools in Gyeongnam participated in the study, and meaningful results were obtained through open surveysand in-depth interviews. First, it was recognized that the small scale double-grade physical education classeswere effective in all grades, regardless of grade, and that there were no major difficulties compared to thedouble-grade classes in other subjects. Second, the climax of the small scale double-grade physical educationclass was categorized into three areas: expansion of interaction opportunities, efficient learning andmotivating. Third, it appeared as a disadvantage of double-grade physical education class in terms ofdifferences between grades, class operation, and class management. Finally, the improvement plan of smallscale double-grade physical education class was proposed by improving teacher quality and professionalism,establishing a teacher support system, expanding interaction opportunities, improving the system, and efficientoperation. The above results are expected to be used as a basis for improving the quality and preparingalternatives of small scale double-grade physical education classes
