학습아비투스에 대한 이론적 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교육과 학습, 인력개발 연구에 있어서 중요한 핵심개념인 학습아비투스에 대한 이론적 논의를 다루는 것을 목적으로 한다. P. Bourdieu의 아비투스 컨셉은 이미 사회연구에 있어서 비중있는 위치를 점한 것에 비해 교육과 학습연구에 있어서는 논의가 문화적 재생산으로만 국한되어 있는 상황이다. 이러한 이유는 아비투스가 사회학적 컨셉이기에 교육학에서는 사용하기에 한계가 있었기 때문으로 판단된다. 본 연구자는 아비투스가 가지는 이론적 가능성을 높게 판단하여 교육학에서 활용될 수 있는 개념을 고안하여 학습아비투스를 제안한다. 이를 위해서는 우선 아비투스 개념의 계보학적 탐색을 기반으로 할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 연구방법상으로는 이론적이고 담론적이며 계보학적이며 해석학적 문헌연구를 토대로 한다. 아비투스 개념은 원래 Panofsky에 의해 논의되고 Elias를 거쳐 Bourdieu까지 이론적 발전을 이루어왔다. 이들의 논의에 기반하여 고안된 학습아비투스 개념은 개인에게 신체적으로 체화된 인지와 전유 그리고 실천의 메카니즘으로 인간형성의 과정을 이해하는데 핵심적인 개념으로 자리매김을 한다고 볼 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to deal with the theoretical discussion of learning habitus, an important core concept in education, learning, and workforce development research. While P. Bourdieu s habitus concept has already taken a significant place in social research, discussions in education and learning research are limited to cultural reproduction. This reason is judged to be because habitus is a sociological concept, so there is a limit to its use in pedagogy. This researcher proposes learning habitus by devising a concept that can be utilized in pedagogy by highly judging the theoretical possibilities of habitus. For this, first of all, it is necessary to base the genealogical search of the concept of habitus. Therefore, this study is based on theoretical, discourse, genealogical, and hermeneutic literature studies in the research method. The habitus concept was originally discussed by Panofsky and has been a theoretical development through Elias to Bourdieu. Based on these discussions, the concept of learning habitus is a mechanism of cognition, appropriation, and practice physically embodied in individuals, and can be seen as a key concept in understanding the process of human formation.
