산업재해로 신체 장애인이 된 근로자의 산업재해와 직업재활 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 근로자가 겪은 산업재해로 인한 신체 손상과 진로단절이라는 생활전반의 변화를 총체적으로 이해하고, 이를 통해 연구참여자가 드러내는 산업재해와 직업재활에 대한 현상의 본질은 무엇인지 규명하여 근로자에서 산재장애인으로 변화 된 실존의 이해를 돕고 직업재활을 위한 방안을 제언하기 위함이다. 8명의 산재장애인을 연구참여자로 하여 van Manen의 해석학적 현상학적 연구방법으로 탐구하여 van Manen이 제시한 네 개의 실존체 분석 방법으로 분석한 결과 91개의 중심의미에서 25개의 주제를 구성하고, 12개의 본질적 주제를 도출하여 산업재해와 직업재활 경험에 대한 본질을 해석하였다. 신체성의 본질적 주제는 ‘사라짐’, ‘고난’, ‘재생’으로, 시간성의 본질적 주제는 ‘무너짐’, ‘변화’, ‘성숙’으로, 공간성의 본질적 주제는 ‘백지’, ‘적자생존’, ‘재탄생’으로, 관계성의 본질적 주제는 ‘혼선, ‘공감’, ‘공존’으로 도출되었고, 이러한 네 개의 근본적 실존체의 주제에서 연구참여자의 산업재해 경험과 직업재활은 ‘산업재해로 인한 변화를 인정함으로써 더 성숙한 존재로 다시 살기’라는 본질을 지향하는 것으로 해석되었다. 본 연구는 근로자의 산업재해와 직업재활을 주제로 한 해석학적 현상학 연구로, 연구참여자들이 경험한 본질에 대한 해석을 시도했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 산재장애인의 직업재활에 대한 개선을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to comprehensively understand the overall changes in life caused by industrial accidents and career breaks, and to identify the nature of industrial accidents and vocational rehabilitation phenomena revealed by research participants to help understanding the existence changed from workers to industrial accident workers, and to suggest the ways for the vocational rehabilitation. Eight industrial accident workers were explored with van Manen s Hermeneutic phenomenological research methods and analyzed by van Manen s four existential analysis methods to construct 25 topics from 91 central meanings and derive 12 intrinsic themes to interpret the nature of industrial accidents and vocational rehabilitation experiences. The essential themes are as follows: the essential themes of corporeality-lived body are ‘disappearance’, ‘suffering’ and ‘regeneration’, the essential themes of temporality-lived time are ‘falling’, ‘change’, ‘mature’, the essential themes of spatiality-lived space are ‘blank paper’, ‘survival of the fittest’, and ‘reborn’, and the essential themes of relationality are ‘confusion’, ‘sympathy’ and ‘coexistence’, Under the theme of these four fundamental entities, the experience of industrial accidents and vocational rehabilitation of research participants were understood to be aimed at the essence of ‘living again as a more mature being by accepting changes caused by industrial accidents’. This study is an Hermeneutic phenomenological study on the subject of industrial accidents and vocational rehabilitation of workers, and it is meaningful in that it attempted to interpret the nature of the research participants experiences. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that the vocational rehabilitation of people with industrial disabilities be improved.
