국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 자기주도 학습의 직업탐색교육이 발달장애 대학생의 진로태도 및 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상자는 4년제 A대학교 2학년에 재학 중인 발달장애 대학생 30명이며, ‘직업탐색’ 수업 시간에 실시되었다. 연구방법은 단일집단에 의한 사전ㆍ사후검사 설계이다. 수집된 자료는 빈도 분석, 사전ㆍ사후 비교를 위한 t검정을 실시하였고, 두 변인간의 상관성을 밝히기 위해 상관관계 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 자기주도 학습의 직업탐색 교육은 첫째, 발달장애 대학생의 진로태도에 긍정적인 변화를 보였다, 둘째, 발달장애 대학생의 자아존중감 형성에서 긍정적 변화가 있었다. 셋째, 자기주도 학습의 직업탐색교육을 통하여 향상된 진로태도 변화와 자아존중감 변화 간에는 유의미한 상관관계가 있었다. 본 연구는 자기주도 학습의 직업탐색 교육을 통하여 학생 자신이 진로에 대한 긍정적이고 적극적인 태도를 형성함과 동시에 자존감을 높일 수 있는 계기가 되었다는 점에 의의가 있었다고 본다. 진로에 대한 자기 주도적 설계는 자기이해 및 다양한 환경 경험과 이해를 통하여 얻어진다는 점에서 취업에 대한 막연한 두려움보다는 내적 귀인으로 발전적 요소를 찾을 수 있게 되었다는 시사점도 제공하였다. 따라서 발달장애 대학생들로 하여금 다양한 상황에서 자기 주도적 학습 경험을 할 수 있도록 교육자는 적합한 학습 환경을 학습자 중심으로 제공하는 것이 중요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate how exploring vocation be linked with self-directed learning effects on career attitude, self-esteem of college with developmental disabilities(DD). The sample in this study was 30 students with DD, 2st grade in A university, who participated in surveys during a exploring vocation class. The study method was one-group pretest-posttest design. A descriptive statistics and t-test approaches were used to investigate general informations and differences between the pretest and the posttest. It was also employed to analyze correlation between self-esteem and career attitude by SPSS(VER.20). The finding of this study is as follows. First, students with DD show better awareness than before on career attitude. Second, self-esteem of students with DD are improved. Third, the correlation between self-esteem and career attitude are also significant statistically. Finally, this study show that self-directed learning in exploring vocation class can offer opportunities on how to treat carrier attitude and esteem positively. In consideration with getting self-directed design about careers through self understanding and environment understanding, These findings further suggest that a diversity of functional curriculum linked with self-directed learning should be more revitalized on educations of college students with DD. Therefore, educators need to offer an appropriate learner-centered background for students with DD to experience self-directed learning in diverse situation.
