국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 학습자 경험분석을 토대로 대학에서의 효과적인 비대면 수업운영을 위한 교수전략을 탐색하는 것이다. 연구방법: 서울 지역 S대학 대학생을 대상으로 2020년 1학기 비대면 수업에 대한 82명의 학습경험 에세이를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 연역적 내용분석 3단계(준비-조직화-보고)에 따라 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 문헌분석을 토대로 분석틀을 재구성하고, 순환적인 자료분석 과정을 거쳐 6개 영역, 16개 범주로 구성된 최종 범주화 매트릭스를 확정하였다. 둘째, 내용분석 결과, 6개 영역(수업준비, 수업내용, 수업운영, 수업자원, 상호작용, 평가 및 과제)에서 43개의 교수전략 키워드가 도출되었다. 셋째, 내용분석 결과를 토대로 비대면 수업에서의 4가지 교수자 역할(수업설계자, 가이드 제공자, 동기부여자, 피드백 제공자)을 도출하고, 수업단계별 교수자 역할 체크리스트(27개 문항)를 개발하였다. 논의 및 결론: 도출된 교수전략과 체크리스트는 대학의 비대면 수업 현장에서 교수자의 수업설계를 지원하는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop teaching strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of college lectures in the non-face-to-face learning environment. Method: From a university in Seoul, eighty-two students’ essays reflecting their learning experiences of the non-face-to-face lectures delivered for the spring 2020 semester were collected. The collected data were analyzed according to three main phases including preparation, organization, and reporting of the deductive content analysis. Results: First, the analytic framework for classifying students’ learning experiences in non-contact learning environment was constructed through a review of previous research. Second, 43 teaching strategies in 16 categories placed under 6 primary types of segments: class preparation, classroom management, contents, materials, interactions, evaluation, and assignments were derived from the analytic results of students’ essays. Third, specialized for the non-face-to-face learning environment, four principle roles of teachers as course designer, guide provider, motivator, feedback-giver were presented and a hand-on teacher self-evaluation checklist as a guide to each phase of a course was developed. Conclusion: The developed strategies and checklist could play significant roles for improving the quality of instructional designs in the non-face-to-face teaching environment.
