국문 초록

본 연구는 교육에 있어 직무역량이 아닌 본질적인 ‘인간성’에 초점을 두기 위해서는 미래 시대를 ‘포스트휴먼 시대’의 측면에서 바라보는 것이 더 적절하다는 인식에서 출발하였다. 이에 따라 포스트휴먼 시대에 인간성 회복을 위한 핵심 인성 역량을 제안하고 이러한 핵심 인성 역량 함양을 위한 수업 방안으로서 미술과 중심 교과통합 프로그램을 개발 및 적용하여 그 효과성을 입증함으로써, 미래시대 요구되는 핵심인성역량 함양을 위한 구체적인 수업 방안을 교육 현장에 제공하고자 하였다. 포스트휴먼 시대 인간으로서 쉽게 잃어버릴 수 있지만 행복한 삶을 위해 필수적인 핵심 인성 역량으로 인문학적 감성 역량과 공동체 역량을 제안할 수 있다. 첫 번째 역량은 주변과 자신에 대한 지각 능력과 감수성을 바탕으로 자신의 삶에 대해 끊임없이 성찰하여 주체성을 갖고 살아갈 수 있게 하는 ‘인문학적 감성 역량’으로, 그 하위 인성요소로는 비판적 사고력, 심미적 감성, 자아성찰, 회복탄력성이 포함된다. 두 번째 역량은 포스트휴먼 시대 개개인에 맞추어진 미디어의 편의성에 함몰된 자기중심적 모습과 사회성이 결여된 모습이 되지 않도록 하기 위하여 필수적 역량인 ‘공동체 역량’으로, 그 하위 인성요소로는 공감, 소통, 협업, 포용성이 포함된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 핵심 인성 역량 함양을 위한 수업 방안으로서 ‘미술과 중심 교과통합형 내러티브 수업 프로그램’을 제안하였다. 이 프로그램은 인간의 삶을 소재로 하여 그 가치를 은유적으로 보여주는 미술과를 중심으로 국어, 사회, 도덕 교과를 통합하여 내러티브 과정에서 문학적, 사회적, 윤리적 탐구가 흥미롭게 이루어지도록 한다. 구안된 ‘미술과 중심 교과통합 프로그램’은 인천광역시에 소재하는 A초등학교 3-4학년군 한 학급, 5-6학년군 한 학급에 적용하고, 그 결과를 양적, 질적으로 분석하여 효과성을 검증하였다. 이 수업 방안이 많은 초등학교 교육현장에서 적용되어 미래사회 시대를 살아갈 우리 아이들에게 ‘인간으로서 행복하게 살아갈 힘’을 심어주기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study starts with the recognition that it is more appropriate to look at the future era in terms of the post-human era in order to focus on the essential humanity rather than job competence in education. Accordingly, we proposed core character competencies for humanity recovery in the post-human era. We developed and applied subject integrated curriculum focused on art education for elementary schools as a teaching plan to cultivate these character competencies and demonstrated its effectiveness. In the post-human era, we can propose humanistic sensibility competency and community competency as core character competencies that people can easily lose but essential for a happy life as a human being. The first competency is the humanistic sensibility competency that enables people to reflect on their lives and live with their own identity based on their perception and sensitivity to their surroundings and themselves. The humanistic sensibility competency includes these character elements: critical thinking, aesthetic sensitivity, self-reflection, and resilience. The second competency is the community competency , which is an essential competency in order to prevent self-centeredness and lack of sociality, which are submerged in the convenience of media tailored to the post-human era. The community competency includes these character elements: empathy, communication, collaboration and inclusion. ‘The Integrated curriculum centered on art education’ was applied to elementary school students in grades 3-4 and 5-6 in Incheon, and the results were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to verify their effectiveness. It is hoped that these teaching methods would be applied to many elementary schools and contributed to giving our children the power to live happily as human beings.
