저출산·고령화사회에 대비한 학교교육의 목표 및 교육내용 구성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 저출산고령화사회 관련 교육의 목적과 하위목표를 설정하고 교육 내용을 체계화하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구 방법으로 저출산고령화사회 관련 문헌을 고찰하였고 7차 교육과정에서 저출산고령화사회와 관련이 깊은 도덕, 사회, 실과(기술가정)를 중심으로 교육과정과 교과서를 분석하였다. 문헌과 교과서 분석을 통해 내용 요소를 추출하고 관련된 교육 목표를 설정하였으며, 이를 체계화 하는 과정에서 전문가 협의회를 실시하였다.저출산고령화사회 대비 학교 교육의 총괄목표는 ‘저출산고령화사회에 대한 체계적 이해를 바탕으로 생명과 인권존중, 성평등과 세대평등의 가치를 구현하여 우리 사회의 인구적정화와 가족친화적 생활 및 복지사회 구현에 기여할 수 있다’로 정하였다. 이에 따른 교육내용은 인간존중, 인구, 가족, 복지의 4개의 대영역으로 분류한 후, 다시 2-3개의 중영역과 2-3개의 소영역으로 구성하고 이에 대한 목표를 진술하였다. 소영역별로 교육 내용 요소를 제시하였다.저출산고령화사회 대비 학교교육의 효과성을 높이고 우리 교육전체에서 활성화시키기 위해서는 이를 뒷받침할 수 있는 정책 및 프로그램들이 병행되어야 할 것이다. 아울러 본 연구를 바탕으로 보다 체계적인 저출산고령화 대비교육이 이루어지고 그 효과를 검증하는 후속 연구가 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to establish educational objectives and their sub-objectives concerning low childbirth rates and the aging society and to systemize the education content. Literature dealing with subjects of low childbirth rate and the aging society were referenced as a research method, in addition to analysis of moral, social, and practical arts (technology and home economics) textbooks. Through these analyses of literature and textbooks, textbook content elements were dervied and concerned education objectives were set. Through an understanding of low childbirth rate and of the aging society, the overall objective of school education can create values such as respect for human rights, gender equality, and generational equality in contributing to manpower optimization, realization of a family friendly environment, and formation of a welfare society. Educational content was categorized into four main categories of respect for the humankind, population, family, and welfare. Sub-categories for each of the main categories were also created and educational content were then presented for each of the sub-categories. Raising and vitalizing the efficacy of school education in preparation for low childbirth rate and the aging society will require a concurrent implementation of a program capable of supporting the education system. In addition, a more systematic follow up study on education in preparation for low childbirth rate and the aging society needs to be realized and results thereof will also be needed.
