국문 초록

시각장애인들은 각자 인구사회학적 특성을 달리하며, 이 다른 특성을 기반으로 자신에게 필요한 민원정보를 선택하고 활용한다. 본 연구는 중증시각장애인의 인구사회학적 특성에 따른 민원 정보접근과 민원 문서 활용 행태를 분석하기 위해 실시되었다. 조사는 민원 정보접근과 민원 문서이용 행태를 알아보는 질문지를 사용하여 100명의 중증시각장애인을 대상으로 진행되었다. 본 연구에서 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 인구사회학적 특성 중 성별, 연령과 학력에 따라 중증시각장애인의 일부 민원 정보접근 행태에서 유의한 차이가 있었지만, 직업유형에 따라 유의한 차이를 보이는 행태는 없었다. 둘째, 중증시각장애인은 민원문서 활용 행태에서는 성별, 연령, 학력 및 직업유형에 따라 다른 분포를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 성별, 연령, 학력과 직업유형의 인구사회학적 특성은 시각장애인의 민원 활용에 영향을 줄 수 있으므로 중증시각장애인의 사회생활에 중요한 민원 서비스 측면에서 고려될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Adults with severe visual impairments have different socio-demographic characteristics, and based on these different characteristics, they choose and utilize the civil information they need. The purpose of this study was to investigate civil information access and document usage behavior with respect to demographic characteristics in adults with severe visual impairments. A total of 100 subjects were taken for research in S and D cities and the questionnaires have been used to assess participants behaviors. Results of this study can be summarized as follows; First, although there were significant differences in some of the socio-demographic characteristics in the civil service information access behaviors of the severely visually impaired, depending on gender, age and academic background, there were no significant differences in the types of jobs. Second, the severely visually impaired showed different distributions depending on gender, age, academic background and job type in the behaviors of using civil documents. Socio-demographic characteristics such as gender, age, academic background and job type can affect the behavior of the severely visually impaired in the use of civil information. Therefore, it needs to be considered in terms of civil service, which is important to the social life of the people with severe visual impairments.
