국문 초록

본 연구는 20-30대 직장여성의 강박 구매행동 경험의 본질적 의미를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 Giorgi의 기술 현상학에 의한 연구 설계 및 자료 분석 과정에 따라 20-30대 직장여성 강박 구매자 중 4명의 심층면접을 실시하였다. 그 결과 의미단위 303개, 그것을 114개의 의미단위로 요약하고, 다시 하위 구성요소 24개 최종 구성요소 9개의 범주로 도출되었다. 분석결과 어린 시절 부모의 정서적 지지 결핍감을 보상받고자 강박 구매행동이 시작됨을 알 수 있었다. 경제적 어려움을 겪으면서 물건구매 전까지 갈등하면서 즉각적이고 합법적인 방법으로 순간의 카타르시스를 느꼈다. 또한 조력자의 통제에 의해 강박 구매감소를 위해 노력하나 결국 ‘후회와 쾌락의 순환’으로 이어지고 있었다. 이는 향후 20-30대 직장여성과 관련된 다양한 양적 연구의 토대가 되고, 강박 구매 예방 및 치료프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the essential meaning of compulsive buying experiences in working women in their 20s & 30s. In-depth interviews were conducted with 4 participants in accordance with Giorgi’s method of obtaining analytic material in phenomenological research. As a result, 303 meaning units were deduced, summed up to 114, and then 24 final sub-constituents were categorized as 9 hyper-constituents. The results of analysis are as follows: Compensation for emotional deficiency and subsequent low self-esteem stemming from a lack of, or perceived lack of emotional support from parental figures. Counteractions against parents who tried to control their purchasing activities. An alternative for dealing with stress immediately and legitimately. Comfort in finding someone to help improve their spending habits and the observation of “The cycle of pleasure and regret” will serve as foundational starting points for future quantitative research regarding the spending habits of working women in their 20s & 30s designed to provide basic data on the development of compulsive purchase prevention and treatment programs.
