요양병원 물리치료사를 대상으로 한 작업치료사와의 협업 실태 조사

국문 초록

목적 : 요양병원에 근무하는 물리치료사를 대상으로 작업치료사와의 협업 실태에 대하여 조사하였다. 연구방법 : 2019년 3월부터 5월까지 요양병원에서 작업치료사와 함께 근무 중인 물리치료사 75명을 대상으로 온라인 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문지는 총 17문항으로 대상자의 일반적인 특성, 협업의 요구도, 공식적인 협업에 관한 내용, 비공식적인 협업에 관한 내용이었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0을 이용하여 기술통계 및 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 작업치료사와의 협업 필요성에 대해 모든 응답자가 필요하다고 응답하였다. 응답자의 68%는 공식적인 팀 회의가 있었고, 빈도는 주 1회가 가장 많았다. 주된 협업의 내용은 ‘치료 방법과 관련된 아이디어 공유 및 제안’, ‘클라이언트에 관한 정보공유’ 이었다. 작업치료사와의 협업의 장점은 효율적 치료 진행, 치료 방향 설정 등이었고 협업의 어려운 점은 서로의 분야에 대한 이해 부족과 의견 조율의 어려움 등이었다. 공식적인 팀 회의가 없는 경우, 이유로 장소 및 시간 제약 꼽은 경우가 가장 많았고, 비공식적인 협업은 직접 만나서 의사소통하며 이루어지는 경우가 가장 많았다. 결론 : 본 연구는 추후 요양병원에 근무하는 작업치료사와 물리치료사의 협업 증진을 위한 환경 조성과 전략 마련을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Objective : A questionnaire survey on experiences with collaborating with occupational therapists was conducted on physical therapists who work with occupational therapists in nursing hospital. Methods : From March to April 2019, 75 physical therapists working in nursing hospital with occupational therapists in Busan, Gyeongsan-do conducted online surveys. The questionnaire was 17 items consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, demands for collaboration, contents about official meeting, and informal collaboration. Results : 100% of respondents answered that they needed very necessary or necessary in the question about the necessity of collaboration with occupational therapists. The frequency of official team meetings was ’once a week’. In the form of active collaboration, there were many sharing and suggesting ideas related to the treatment method, and sharing information about clients. The advantages of collaborating with occupational therapists were efficient treatment and setting of treatment direction. The difficulties of collaboration were lack of understanding of each other and difficulty in coordinating opinions. The reasons for absence of team meetings in the workplace were location, time constraints, lack of willingness, etc. The most common means of informal collaboration was direct communication. Conclusion : This study can be used as a basic data for creating environment and strategy for promoting collaboration between occupational therapist and physical therapist.
