국문 초록

이 연구는 학생의 학교교육활동에 대한 주체적 참여는 학교, 학부모, 교사 등 여러 관계를 통해 형성된다는 가정을 바탕으로, 그 영향 요인을 확인하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2016년경기교육종단연구 중학교 2학년 자료를 대상으로 다층 모형을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 월평균 가구소득이 높을수록, 학급임원일수록, 학교에 대한 전반적 만족이 높을수록, 교사와의관계가 좋을수록(학생 수준), 그리고 학부모의 학교 공개수업 참여 경험이 있을수록(학부모 수준) 학생의 학교운영 참여에 대한 인식이 높았다. 한편 혁신학교인 경우, 읍면에 위치한 학교일수록, 그리고 학부모의 보조교사 역할에 대한 학교장의 기대가 높은 학교(학교 및 학교장)의 학생들의 학교운영 참여에 대한 인식이 높았다. 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 시사점을 제안하였다. 학생과 학부모의 교육적 관심, 민주적 참여를 유도하는 문화적 조건으로서의 정책 도입(혁신학교), 학부모의 학교 운영 참여에 대한 학교장의 의지, 이 세 가지 실천적 전략들은 학생 운영 참여 인식을 제고하는 데 의미 있는 기여를 할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore influential factors on the basis of the assumption that student s participation in school education activities is formed through various relationships such as school, parents, and teacher. To do this, we analyzed the second grade of middle school in 2016 Gyeonggi Education Longitudinal Study by using multi-level model. The results showed that the higher the monthly average household income, the more experience with student government, the higher the overall satisfaction with the school, the better the relationship with the teacher(student level), and the more the parents experience of participating in open classes, the perception of student self-government participation was high. On the other hand, students in schools who are more likely to be innovative schools, schools located in municipalities, and the school principal s expectation of parents role as assistant teachers were highly perceived by participate in school management(schools and principals level). Based on the above results, we suggest implications. The educational interests of students and parents, the introduction of policy as a cultural condition to encourage democratic participation (Innovation Schools), and the school principal s willingness to involve parents in school operations. These three practical strategies have contributed significantly to the promotion of student’s participate in school management.
