학습의 관점에서 바라본 미술관 전시내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

내러티브(Narrative)연구는 예술영역에서 시작되어 언어학과 기호학, 경영학, 교육학의 응용영역으로까지 확장되어가고 있다. 교육학에서의 내러티브탐구는 인식이론의 문제로 파악하는 입장에서부터 교육실천의 수단으로 생각하는 방법론적 활용의 시각에 이르기까지 다양하다. 이러한 내러티브탐구는 다양한 문화매체에의 적용과 응용이 가능하다는 것을 의미한다. 그림에서의 내러티브는 미술관 전시의 구조속에 새로운 내러티브로 탄생한다. 미술관은 ‘구조화된 교육적 보여주기’를 통하여 “의미해석(Deutung)”을 이끌어낸다. 미술관 전시의 대체적인 흐름은 연대기적 내러티브 또는 작가의 전기적 내러티브가 주류를 이룸으로 인해 개별 작품의 내러티브와 전시속의 내러티브와 상호유기적인 연결고리를 형성한다. 본 연구는 미술관의 전시내러티브에 대한 실증적인 연구들이 이루어지기 위한 이론적 모형을 탐색하고 이를 세 가지로 제시하고 있다. 첫째, 미술관에는 통일적인 전시 내러티브 방법보다는 다양한 전시 내러티브들이 공존할 수 있어야 한다. 둘째, 미술관은 비평적ㆍ해석적 다양성의 내러티브 전시가 있는 열린 해석 공간을 창출해야 한다. 셋째, 미술관전시는 선형적, 인과적 전시의 형태보다는 이미지인식을 위한 공간으로 변형될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Narrative studies started from the art field have been extended to the applied fields of linguistics, semiology, business administration and pedagogy. Narrative studies in pedagogy vary according to the viewpoints of the methodological practical applications because some regard the study as the problem of epistemology and others as the method of educational practice. This means that one can apply various cultural vehicles to the study. Pictures in the exhibition structure of the Art Museum can have another narrative through the exhibition narrative about them. They can be used to draw “Deutung” through structured educational exhibition by the narrative. Generally they are mainly displayed with the flow of the narrative of chronological or author s biographical orders, and so there are interactive connections between the personally narrative pictures and the same but displayed narrative pictures in the structured Art Museum. The aim of this study is to search theoretical models to get practical studies for the exhibition narrative of the Art Museum and I suggest three methods of the search: Firstly, various exhibition narrative methods should coexist with an unified exhibition narrative method in the Museum of Art. Secondly, there should be enough rooms for open explanations of various critical and/or interpretative narrative exhibitions in the Museum of Art. Thirdly, The exhibition form of the Art Museum should be changed from the linear and/or causal display form to the space form of image recognition.
