결혼이주여성의 원어민 강사되기 - 일터에서의 의례적 학습과정을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

변화하는 다문화 환경 속에서 결혼이주여성들의 성공적인 사회적응과 주체적인 성장을 위해서는 그들의 직업과 일터에 관한 보다 세밀한 이해가 필요하다. 따라서 일터에서 일어나는 형식, 무형식 학습의 실체와 매커니즘을 파악하는 것이 요구된다. 이 에 본 연구는 문화적 맥락에서의 학습과정을 보여주는 의례적 학습에 주목하고 원어민 강사로 활동하고 있는 경력, 신입강사 20여명을 대상으로 문화기술지 연구방법을 통해 일터에서의 의례적 학습과정을 살펴보았다. 연구결과 첫째, 결혼이주여성 원어민 강사의 의례적 학습은 일터인 T사업단의 공간을 중심으로 하여 다양한 의례들을 거치며 이루어지고 있었다. 먼저 면접을 통해 상호작용이 시작되며 신입강사 양성교육은 강사로서의 새로운 몸틀을 만드는 출발점이 되었다. 또한 모의수업을 통해 자신만의 방식으로 체화된 지식들을 재현하였다. 수료식을 함께하며 의례적 정서를 공유하고 첫 수업은 이들에게 본격적인 원어민 강사로서의 첫발을 내딛는 의례가 된다. 둘째, 결혼이주여성 원어민 강사의 일터에서의 의례적 학습은 T사업단이라는 리미널리티 공간 속에서의 미메시스와 신체성, 연행성, 이미지 등의 상호메카니즘 속에서 이루어지고 있었다. 이상에서 살펴 본 결혼이주여성의 일터에서의 의례적 학습은 모국 또는 이전의 위치와 공간에서 분리되어 원어민 강사의 정체성으로 통합되어가는 과정의 전이단계에서 일어남을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

In changing multi-cultural environment, it s necessary to understand marriage migrant women s occupation and workplace more minutely for their successful adaptation to the society and subjective growth. So, this researcher focused ritual learning which shows learning process in cultural context and examined their life, learning and ritual learning process in workplace through the research methods of life history and ethnography for about 20 experienced and unexperienced instructors who are native-speaking instructors. First, ritual learning of native-speaking instructor of marriage migrant women was conducted by various rites in T business foundation, their workplace. First of all, interaction started by interview and new instructor training education became a starting point which makes new frame of instructor. Also, they reappeared knowledges trained by their own method through the mock class. They shared ritual emotion in completion ceremony. The first class is the rite taking the first step of native-speaking instructor in earnest. Second, ritual learning of native-speaking instructor of marriage migrant women in workplace was conducted in mimesis of liminality space, T business foundation, and mutual mechanism such as corporality, performance theory, image, etc. The above ritual learning of marriage migrant women in workplace is in the stage of transition during the process separated from homeland or previous position and space and combined to the identity of native-speaking instructor. It was also understood as a part of the whole life process of marriage migrant woman and was the process of growth and change, finding new self-identity.
