국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 지역사회 일반 노인을 대상으로 시와 일기쓰기를 활용한 글쓰기 활동이 사회적 관계망 및 우울 정도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: K시 노인종합복지관에 다니는 만 65세 노인 20명을 대상으로 시와 일기쓰기를 총 10주에 걸쳐 시행하 였다. 사회적 관계망은 LSNS-6, 우울감은 K-GDS를 사용하여 평가하였다. 연구결과: 사전-사후 검사를 분석한 결과 글쓰기 활동은 노인의 사회적 관계망, 우울감에 긍정적으로 유의미한 개 선을 보였다. 글쓰기 활동은 지역사회 노인들의 여가시간에 따른 복지관 이용만족도에도 긍정적인 영향 을 미쳤다. 결론: 시와 일기쓰기는 노인의 사회적 관계망 및 우울감에 유용하게 적용되었으며, 지속적으로 글쓰기 활동 을 개발한다면 노인의 각종 사회적 문제를 예방하고 대처하는 프로그램으로써 고령사회에 기여할 수 있을 것이라고 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of writing activities of poetry and diary writing on the social network and welfare of elderly people in the community. Method: A total of 20 elderly, 65 years of age, attending K - City Elderly Welfare Center were enrolled for 10 weeks. The social network was assessed using LSNS-6, and depression was assessed using K-GDS. Result: Analysis of pre intervention and post intervention scores showed that writing activities improved the social network and decreased depression in the elderly. Writing activities increased the satisfaction with the welfare center for participating elderly. Conclusion: The use of poetry and diary writing is useful for the social network and depression management of the elderly. It is expected that, if a writing activity curriculum is developed, it will contribute to the aged society, when applied as a program to prevent and cope with various social problems of the elderly.
