국문 초록
본 연구는 초등학교 교사 346명을 대상으로 ADHD에 대한 지식수준에 대해 조사한 것이다. 초등학교 교사들의 ADHD에 대한 지식 정도를 알아보기 위해 ADHD에 대한 일반적 특성, 진단 및 원인, 행동특성, 약물치료 등 네 가지 영역으로 구성된 설문지가 사용되었으며, 정답률을 산출하여 자료처리 하였다. 연구결과 초등학교 교사의 ADHD에 관한 전반적인 지식수준은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 항위영역별로는 일반적인 특성에 대한 지식수준은 비교적 높게 나타났으나 행동 특성, 진단 및 원인, 그리고 약물치료에 관한 지식수준은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. ADHD관련 연수프로그램 개발 및 실제적인 워크숍을 통해 초등학교 교사의 ADHD에 대한 정확한 이해를 넓힐 필요가 있다.
영문 초록
This study aims to suggest how the actual field of elementary school education should be transformed in Korea for righteous education for ADHD children by analyzing how elementary school teachers’ knowledge level regarding ADHD. To attain the research goal, the paper formulated its study questions regarding elementary school teachers’ ADHD-related knowledge level (general characteristics, diagnosis and cause, behavioral characteristics, medication), elementary school teachers’ attitude to ADHD (integrated education), and teachers’ attitude according to their ADHD-related knowledge level.
To solve the study questions, the research conducted a survey to 346 elementary school teachers working in Jeonrabuk-do. The result of study, elementary school teachers’ ADHD-related knowledge level was relatively low. The level of knowledge among teachers in primary school teachers differed according to the lower areas.
Regarding general characteristics, they showed a high knowledge level, but about behavioral characteristics or diagnosis and cause, their level was medium, and their medication-related knowledge level was very low.
Therefore, it is necessary to open a training session aimed at primary teachers. Through this, need to broaden their understanding of teacher s ADHD education.
