초등학교 6학년 두 학생의 논술 능력 발달 특성 비교

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 1학년, 초등학교 3학년 두 학생의 논술 능력 발달 특성을 비교한 선행 연구(;박태호, 2013)의 후속 연구이다. 이에 두 선행 연구에서 사용한 여섯 가지 논술 주요 특성 평가법(내용, 조직, 목소리, 문장, 낱말, 관습)을 그대로 활용하여 초등학교 6학년 두 학생(상 수준, 하 수준)의 논술 능력 발달 특성을 비교하고 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음의 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 상 수준 학생이 주장과 근거를 명료하게 제시하였다면 하 수준 학생은 근거가 없는 주장만을 제시하였다. 둘째, 상 수준 학생이 맥락에 적합한 다양한 낱말을 사용하였다면 하 수준 학생은 제한적인 낱말만을 사용하여 상 수준 학생에 비해 다양성과 참신성이 다소 떨어진다. 셋째, 상 수준 학생의 경우에 맞춤법과 띄어쓰기 등에서 일부 오류가 발견되었으나 하 수준 학생의 경우에는 맞춤법, 띄어쓰기, 문장 부호 등 관습 항목 전반에 걸쳐 오류가 발견되었다.

영문 초록

This study utilized the Six primary traits of evaluation factors of an argumentative writing(content, organization, voice, sentence fluence, word choice, convention) to compare the traits of argumentative writing development in two six-grade students(higher and lower standards). For such, the origin and factors of the six primary traits of evaluation factors of an argumentative were examined. Then, the essays of the two students in first-grade, six-grade were analyzed and compared. As a result, the following facts were identified. First, the student with higher standard proposes supporting sentences for each statement, however, the student with lower standard dosen’t propose supporting sentence for each statement. Second, the writing of the student with higher standard has solid organization with abundant vocabulary, however, the writing of the student with lower standard both has poor organization and vocabulary. Third, the student with higher standard used correct grammar and sentence symbols most of the time but the student with lower standard lacked in such areas.
