동극활동 과정에서 나타난 유아들의 친사회적 행동 양상

국문 초록

본 연구는 동극활동 과정에서 나타난 유아들의 경험을 심도 있게 분석함으로써 동극활동 과정에서 나타 난 유아들의 친사회적 행동 양상은 어떠하며 어떻게 변화하는지 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 2014 년 4월 1일(화)부터 7월 24일(목)까지 15주 동안 주 2~3회에 걸쳐 유아의 흥미와 상황을 고려하여 융통성 있게 이루어졌다. 자료 수집은 참여 관찰을 통한 녹음 자료의 전사와 연구자의 연구 일지, 학부모와의 대화 등 기타 참조 자료를 다양한 방법으로 수집하였다. 동극활동 과정에서 나타난 행동양상은 첫째, 동극활동 과정에서 유아들은 친구를 배려하기 위해서 기다려 주거나 격려하고 칭찬해주는 행동이 나타났다. 둘째, 동 극활동 과정에서 유아들은 자신의 입장에서 도움을 주는 것에서 친구의 입장을 고려하여 도움을 주는 친사 회적 행동 양상으로 발전하였다. 셋째, 동극활동 과정에서 유아들은 자신의 물건이나 기회를 친구에게 양보 했다. 넷째, 동극활동 과정에서 유아들은 갈등상황을 긍정적으로 해결하기 위해 노력하고, 자신이 맡은 역 할에 책임을 다하며 협력하는 태도를 보였다. 동극활동 과정은 또래간의 다양한 의사소통의 기회와 협력의 경험을 제공하여 친사회적 행동을 촉진하는 긍정적 경험을 제공하였다.

영문 초록

This study conducted an in-depth investigation on experiences that children would go through during their drama activities in order to understand not only pro-social behavioral patterns of the children but also how the patterns would change. First, the study noticed that during the drama activities, the children were willing to wait on friends and gave words of encouragement and compliment to their peers which proved the children’s being capable of doing pro-social behaviors. Second, in terms of how the children’s behaviors would develop during the drama activities, the study learned that the children improved their pro-social behavioral patterns from giving a help to the peers focusing on oneself only to helping the peers considering the peers’ different situations. Third, another pro-social behavioral pattern of the children was observed during the drama activities which was the research subjects’ sharing with others. Fourth, the research subjects performed a new pro-social behavior in order to resolve multiple conflicts and troubles during the drama activities and, they tried to work out the problems out in positive ways cooperating each other.
