기초주의 관점에서 본 모리 아키라(森昭) - 교육자적 특질을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

이 글은『교육인간학』(1961)과『인간형성원론』(1977)을 쓴 모리 아키라(森昭:1915-1976)의 교육자 적 특징이 1957년에 청뢰(淸？) 한기언(韓基彦:1925-2010)이 제창한 기초주의의 교육자론과 어떻게 관련되는가를 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. 한기언의 기초주의는 인간형성의 논리이다. 여기서 ‘교육 자’란 자신의 삶을 교육적으로 살아가는 모든 사람을 지칭하는 것이다. 기초주의의 관점에서 본 모리의 교육자적 자질을 정리해 보면 다음 세 가지이다. 첫째 모리의 ‘고쳐짓기형 향도자(嚮導者)’ 는 기초주의의 시간의 이념과 관련된 역사의식을 지닌 사람이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 변화에 대한 ‘통찰성’이 요구된다. 둘째 모리의 ‘자기성전(自己成全)의 지성인(知性人)’은 기초주의의 ‘자유의 이 념’과 관련된 고매인격의 소유자라 할 수 있다. 인류에 대한 박애의 마음을 갖는 ‘수월성’이 요구된 다. 셋째 모리의 ‘세대계승적 개척자(開拓者)’는 기초주의의 ‘질서의 이념’과 관련된 교회불권(敎誨 不倦)의 선구자라 볼 수 있다. 양립하기 어려운 두 가지 과제를 동시에 달성하려는 ‘독창성’이 요구 된다. 결국 모리의 교육인간학과 한기언의 기초주의는 단지 외국 교육 이론의 소개로 그치는 것이 아니라 ‘이론의 자기전개’를 통해 실천적 이념의 원리·철학적 고찰이라는 공통점을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the Japanese educator Mori Akira (1915-1976), the author of Educational Anthropology(1961) and the Principles of Human Formation(1977) through the viewpoint of educator theory of Foundationism,　proposed by Ki-Un Hahn(1925-2010) in 1957. Foundationism of Hahn is the theory of formation of human nature. The educator, in this paper, means everybody who lives their life by themselves educatively. The educational traits of Mori in the view points of Foundationism were as follows. Firstly, ‘the rebuilding leader’ of Mori is related to the Idea of Time of Hahn's Foundationism, as the historically conscious person. Therefore, the discernment of change is needed. Secondly, ‘the intelligent’ of Self Completion of Mori is related to the Idea of Freedom of Hahn's Foundationism, as the man of noble character. Therefore, excellence of love for humanity is required. Thirdly, ‘the pioneer’ of Inheritance Generation of Mori is related to the Idea of Order of Hahn's Foundationism, as the man of no ennui preceptor. Therefore, creativeness is also required to solve the incompatible tasks. As a result, educational anthropology of Mori and Hahn's Foundationism have a common ground which is the practical and philosophical study as a self developing theory, not merely as the introduction of a foreign theory.
