Authoring에서의 지식전환 과정에 대한 인지모형

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 Learning by Authoring의 연구분야중 학습자의 지식전환 과정에 대한 인지모형을 정립하기 위한 것으로, 어떤 조건에서 어떻게 인지전략을 사용하는가를 밝히기 위한 것이다. 단일 참여자에 의한 사례연구방법을 사용하였으며, 자료분석의 타당도와 신뢰도를 높이기 위하여 참여자의 verbal reporting, stimulated recall interview, open-ended question, field note 등을 사용하여 심층분석을 시도하였다. 관찰의 대상은 연구 참여자가 Knowledge Organizer라는 도구를 사용하여 내용을 재조직화 하는 과정이었다. 모두 4가지 구인으로 형성된 인지모형이 제안되었는데, 재조직화의 목표, 지식전환에 사용된 도구의 기능적 특성, chunking 전략, 그리고 하향식 정보검색이다. 이중 재조직화의 목표 및 지식전환에 사용된 도구의 기능적 특성이 전반적인 인지과정을 중재하는 역할을 담당하는 것으로 나타났다. 일단 중재가 이루어진 이후에는 chunking 전략과 하향식정보검색을 사용하여 지식전환 과정을 수행하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this case study was to understand how a learner transforms his/her knowledge with using what cognitive strategies in what condition. To answer the purpose, this study used a single case study to obtain an in-depth analysis. More specifically, it was to explain when a learner has prior knowledge, how he/she would transform it. In this study, Chris (pseudonym) participated to transform knowledge about Ausubel?s learning and instructional theory through the Knowledge Organizer developed for this study. In order to ensure validity and reliability of this study, multiple sources and pre-developed procedure were used for this analysis. The asserted cognitive model of this study identified that there were two casual conditions, (a) authoring goal and (b) authoring tool. The conditions resulted in chunking strategy and top-down approach to select sub-concepts. During the transformation process, the authoring tool used in this study was regulating of selecting and linking concepts. Findings were discussed in terms of how the asserted cognitive model would affect knowledge transformation process.
