국문 초록

본 연구는 알츠하이머 치매 환자의 화용언어능력을 알아보는 데에 그 목적이 있다. 연구 목적에 따라 연구 대상은 전남 Y시에 있는 J 종합병원 정신과에 내원한 65세부터 79세의 총 264명의 알츠하이머 치매 노인을 대상으로 하였다. 검사는 환자의 보호자가 응답하는 간접검사로 실시하였다. 본 연구는 세 개의 연구문제를 갖는다. 첫째, 알츠하이머 치매 환자의 화용언어 능력은 생활연령이 일치된 일반 노인과 비교하여 어떠한가? 둘째, 알츠하이머 치매 노인의 하위범주별 화용언어 능력은 서로 상관관계가 있는가? 셋째, 유병기간과 MMSE 점수로 나타나는 치매 정도는 알츠하이머 치매 노인의 화용언어능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 검사결과 알츠하이머 치매 노인의 화용언어 능력은 일반 노인과 비교하여 유의하게 낮은 수행능력을 보였으며, 화용언어의 네 개의 하위 범주들 간에는 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 유병기간에 따른 화용언어점수는 차이가 없으나 치매 정도는 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out pragmatic language skill in the patients with Alzheimer s disease. According to the purpose of study, this study was performed with 264 patients with Alzheimer s disease from 65 to 79 years old who have visited the department of psychiatry of J General Hospital located in Y City, Jeonnam. The test was performed in the form of indirect test that the guardians of the patient answer. This study has three subjects of inquiry. First, how is the pragmatic language skill of the patients with Alzheimer s disease compared to the general elders having same chronological age? Second, does the pragmatic language skill of the patient with Alzheimer s disease by subcategory has correlation each other? Third, what impact does have the level of dementia represented with the disease duration and MMSE score on the pragmatic language skill of the patients with Alzheimer s disease. In the test results, the patients with Alzheimer s disease showed the significantly low pragmatic language skill compared with the general elders and the high correlation was shown among 4 subcategories of the pragmatic language. Third, it was represented that there is no difference in the score of pragmatic language according to the disease duration but the level of dementia has significant impact on the pragmatic language skill
