시각장애아교육 교사의 교수능력에 대한 중요도-실행도 분석

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 시각장애학교에 근무하는 교사 95명과 학부모 35명을 대상으로 시각장애아교육 교사의 교직수행능력에 대한 중요도와 실행도 수준 및 두 변인간의 차이를 알아보고, 이에 대한 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA)을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 시각장애아교육 교사와 학부모 모두 시각중복장애 지원을 가장 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났다. 중요도와 실행도 간 차이를 요인별로 알아본 결과, 학습자 특성에 따른 교수학습 지식 요인이 차이가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났고, 문항별로는 진로 및 직업 지도가 가장 크고, 눈의 구조ㆍ기능ㆍ질환에 관한 지식이 가장 작은 것으로 나타났다. 중요도-실행도 분석(IPA) 결과, 1사분면에 위치한 요인은 시각중복장애 지원, 교수학습 운영, 학습자 특성에 따른 교수 지식, 2사분면에 위치한 요인은 감각 활용 지도, 3사분면에 위치한 요인은 관련서비스 지원 요인이었다. 이 연구의 결과는 시각장애아교육 교사 양성대학의 교육과정 개발뿐 아니라 시각장애아교육 교사의 연수 등 재교육 프로그램을 구안하는 데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in the importance and performance level of teachers competencies to perform teaching and the difference between the two variables in 95 teachers and 35 parents in Schools for the Visually Impaired. In addition, the significance-performance analysis (IPA) was conducted. The results of the study are as follows. Both groups showed that support for visual impairment was the most important factor. As a result of examining the difference between importance and performance, the difference of teaching - learning knowledge factor according to learner characteristics showed the greatest difference. The factors in the first quadrant of the importance - performance analysis (IPA) result of the importance and performance of the teacher education program for the blind children are as follows: support for visual redundancy, teaching and learning operation, respectively. The factor in the second quadrant was sensory teaching, and factors in the lower third quadrant were related service support factors. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the development of curriculum of special education teacher training institute as well as reeducation programs such as special teacher training.
